The restaurant is lovely staff was pleasant and helpful it was my meal that was the problem I ordered Beef Stroganoff and when it came it was like pulled beef in a little dish it had no sauce mushrooms or anything It was served with rice and chips but it was not nice

Popped here for lunch, got the rice bowl. Tiny portion for a child, food was inedible. Tasted bad, could not eat it. Very disappointing, won’t be back. Do not recommend.

Terrible service tonight, left with dirty plates for an hour. Nobody checked everything was ok or asked if we’d like anymore drinks. Then charged us for G&T’s we didn’t have. Food great service terrible ?

Warm welcome. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Great menu plenty to choose from, decided on the bratwurst as not many places have it on the menu. It was very tasty just how I remembered it on my visits to Germany.

Staff need a shake up. No thank you's, no good byes I work in customer service myself and wasn't impressed at all. The staff were happy enough in the back making videos/ being on their phones. We had to ask 3 times for drinks to the point I had to get up to the bar and ask as well as going up to the bar to ask for the bill.

Attended here for a family celebration. So a good size group. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy initially and the atmosphere was good.Shown to our table but no explanation that I had to go to the bar to get my drinks myself. Certainly nobody came to get a drinks order. We pre ordered our food and was disappointed that it came out in stages. Some had nearly finished their main meal before other meals arrived.Not once did someone ask if the meal was ok. We on a couple of occasions had to get up and find a member of staff just to ask for cutlery.Only 2 desserts available on the menu again very poor. Of who had desserts which again only came out of the kitchen one at a time. We had to ask for spoons etc. again people finished their dessert before others got served.I know the restaurant will say that “we should have notified staff so not to leave unhappy “ but when you struggle to get a piece of cutlery or a meal, then this should be obvious that you as a business are not preforming. Or at least ask if things are okay.Over all. Below average food ( the owner needs to see the competition in Beverley, much higher standards)Service was non existent. Had the service been better then I would have been able to comment or they would be professional and notice and rectify to give a better experience to the customer.This is a very fair review.

Went for dinner on a Monday evening. Visited this evening with my dog to meet the parents for some food. Staff could not have been more attentive and polite. Food was absolutely spot on. Some of the best food and service we’ve experienced in a long time. Thank you for a relaxed and enjoyable evening ??
