Thai Palace is a beautiful hidden treasure in Beverley, and after being recommended to visit, we came for an evening meal on a Saturday night. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the staff were consistently friendly and attentive to us, always a smile on their faces which is lovely to see! For starters we shared the Toong Tong (thai golden bags) which were very tasty. For main courses we ordered from the chefs specials, Goong Yai Pad Pong Ga-Ree (stir fried king prawns) and Ped Makham (battered duck with tamarind sauce) which we shared with some noodles in the middle. This food filled us completely and left us very satisfied, the duck in particular was gorgeous.

I was with 8 friends, the service was fantastic and the food which was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented arrived really quickly, this was the general consensus of all of us and just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, we got the bill and were all pleasantly surprised at what great value for money it is, cannot fault the place!!

Dinner for two, booked for 6.45pm on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was very busy and we saw several people presumably turned away as they came in and left very quickly. We were served promptly with drinks and our order taken. We had two starters, mussels and pork and prawn dumplings, delicious, followed by chicken masaman curry, pad Thai and duck with crispy rice noodles, each plate was almost cleared. The food was just lovely, we left feeling like we’d eaten really good food. We’ve eaten here a few times now and thoroughly enjoyed everything we’ve eaten. Service is quick and we were only there an hour but it was a very enjoyable hour. Highly recommended.

A fabulous meal in a restaurant that clearly sees a good amount of footfall but empties out early (Its a Northern thing re eating early me think) All the food we had was of top quality and we had a vegetarian in the group that as equally pleased with the offering. Wine list also great and whilst small some good reds to be had - totally recommended
