Don’t know what the bad reviews are about to be honest!

We dined in at 6pm on a Tuesday evening. We walked in and just another 2 people in there who were celebrating a birthday to which the staff sang & brought out cake which was lovely.

The staff, which we only saw 2, was lovely & helpful. I think we was the last customers of the night as no-one else came in while we was there & we was the only ones eating after the others had left. With this is mind we wasn’t rushed or made to feel unwelcome.

The food was lovely, the price is higher than average fish & chip restaurant, however, the size of fish justifies the price, very big fish & decent size portion of chips.

Overall, not a bad restaurant.

I have been going to Busy Bees since I was a kid. Before they had BB’s 2 & 3. We went to BB’s 2 near the Yacht Club today. The fish was tiny and no option for sizing. The chips were ok once doused with salt and vinegar and curry sauce. The fish had that smell where you know it would have been its last day that it could be served. It was just awful. Absolute waste of money. Really annoyed me that i chose to go there as the last time wasn’t any better. Plenty of other to choose from and I will be voting with my feet. £18.95 for fish and chips, fish, curry sauce and a bread bun.

the only chippy out of everyone we spoke to who catered for gluten free diners, excellent food and an informed and engaging staff

My family and I came in for lunch today and we're very disappointed with the quality of the food presented to us. The battered sausage was grainy and unpleasant. £1.50 for a slice of bread & butter. Is ridiculous! Haddock & Chips we're tasteless no matter how much tartar sauce was on them. The curry sauce was probably the best bit. Service was fast and the restaurant was clean. The food was a massive let down.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Tasteless & Greasy fish. Tasteless chips & mushy peas. Also the toilets were dirty & disgusting. Tables were not clean. Cheap cutlery. The food we had was expensive compared to other fish & chip restaurants. The only good thing was the service was quick, but that was because the place was empty. Would definitely avoid going here ever again.

Absolutely awful place. All 3 staff had faces longer than a wet weekend. They were staring at us the whole time making us uncomfortable. It was a scorching day so I wanted to sit inside out of the sun. The place was empty but I was asked to leave and sit outside despite me saying the sun was too hot for me. You'd think paying £15 would grant you an indoor seat but no.Atrocious treatment and creepy staff, particularly the skinny one with a failed mustache. I wont be going back and I strongly advise everyone to avoid at all costs. This place frankly made me not want to visit Bridlington again.

Where Do I start...Looked really good from outside but don't be fooled!Service- run by alot of young adults with no customer service skills.Food- not the greatest and certainly not 5*Chips was edible but not what they should have been. Sausage was blended mush and Fish was slimy.Over £40 for x2 sausage and chips, 2 slices of bread, fish and chips along with 4 drinks, would of got a better meal in Weatherspoons.I can see this place is surviving on tourist and no locals.Avoid at all costs and save your self disappointed.Vegetarian options: No option available apart from mushy peasWheelchair accessibility: Yes but toilet facilities was dirty and certainly not been cleaned for a while

Visited today and it was awful! Fish and chips easily the worse I've ever had at a seaside town one fish was really dry and the other really slimey, the pie and chips were really hard, the gravy was lumpy the chips were not nice in general. The girl that served us had one of the worse attitudes ever, maybe needs to think about how she speaks to customers that help pay her wages. Don't like your job then quit. Simple.First time here, and definitely won't be back. Plenty of other options I'm Bridlington for decent fish and chips unfortunately this isn't one of them.

I've always loved to visit bridlington, every year from me being a child we used to stay for a week.having lost my mum recently I thought we would come and relive those memories.we went to busy bees on chapel street for fish and chips, they only gave half the order we showed them we wanted that we wrote on our phone and when we spoke to the assistant she stated we only purchased 2 plates and not 5, I stated she had neglected to read the full order and she told me I was being over dramatic.I then left an honest review on their page on Facebook and was met with a message in my messenger telling me to get a life, he then promptly blocked me so i couldn't respond....Needless to say, the beautiful bridlington I once knew is no more and I will not be returning.

We attended busy bees fish and chips Chapel street bridlungton as a family of 5 and because we had a big order wrote it all on notes in my husband's phone. My husband went to the cash desk and handed his phone over with the full order on it, after 5 minut3s they came with 2 plate. 15 minutes later thebother 3 hadn't arrived so I approached the assistant to be told we only placed those 2. I then commented that they neglected to read the entire order and she said I was Iver dramatic and basically called me a liar. I wrote an honest review on their page and was met with a message on messenger from busy bees stating I needed to get a life, they promptly blocked me so I couldn't respond. AVOID THiS COMPANY

Food was good, however slightly overpriced at £11.95 for a portion of fish and chips. Service was efficient but you do have to order at the counter. I also noticed there were dead flies in the vinegar.Parking: No parking at all at the restaurant, but there is paid parking down the road.Wheelchair accessibility: Good wheelchair accessibility, step-free access to all parts of the restaurant
