Decent Chinese restaurant with a varied menu. Both main courses were not exactly as per the menu - the broccoli and green pepper in black beans had no peppers and Udon Japanese curry had no noodles? However we had plenty of food and it was nice.Service was attentive but not sure if the error was with taking the order or in the kitchen?It's a typical Chinese restaurant in side - nothing special but fine.

Over priced and very poor in terms of portion size when comparing to the take out menu. Items you would normally expect to come with sides we were told would have to buy separate where as the take out menu suggests sides (chips/rice) are included??? Only two seated on a Friday night so no excuse for the long wait for food really. Service was OK, food was tasty, but the bill was questionable...

Just been for a Chinese meal at China City ...the staff were so friendly and couldnt do even for you ...the food was delicious...perfectly cooked ...beautiful presentation...cant say a bad word about it ...it was excellent ...food staff its a 10 from us ...definitely will be returning ...thank you all

Just ordered a delivery for the first time from this place. Food arrived quickly, it was hot and very tasty. I also think it was good value for money, especially the hot platter starter.

Food was very good and tasty, all came out hot. Service was disappointing though, staff not great at all. We visited here as a group of 14 for a birthday meal. We arrived a little early and were waiting on the last few people arriving, one member of staff came three times in a less than 10 minute period to ask if we were all ready to order yet even though there were still empty seats and we kept informing him we were still waiting on people. Staff did not seem to know about the food, we asked several questions and got passed about between 3 people before someone was finally able to answer the queries we had on food items. Food came out but not all, we were still waiting on some for quite a while after the rest. Then when the mains came there were several wrong items which arrived and had to go back. Food quality was good and it was all very tasty. Staff trying to clear table before people had finished and even glasses which still had drinks in were taken. One waitress who seemed to drop and spill everything was a liability. Dropping cutlery on people and spilling coffee as she was putting the cups down, in need of more training. Overall staff just did not seem friendly or helpful, and seemed like they wanted rid of you before you were even sat down. Would recommend this place for food, so maybe takeaway if they do, but would not recommend eating in the restaurant with the staff.

Terrible takeaway from here this evening. Food lacked flavour and just tasted like cheap cayenne pepper. Meat quality was poor also. Wouldn’t order from here again.
Got a takeaway went in ordered it and took it away all the chips rock hard ..chicken balls rock hard over cooked ...ribs are over cooked and not enjoyable at all ....the chef needs to up his game or will loose so many customers ... Last year came and ate inside lovely food this year food is horrible didn't enjoy it at

Terrible service!!ordered at 7.30pm and arrived at 9.45pm!!!we called twice to ask where our order was,they assured us that the order was on its way with the driver...clearly it was not!!! The driver was rude,the food was cold and tasteless!!!salt n pepper chips especially soggy and tasteless!!would not recommend this place to anyone who likes a decent tasty hot Chinese!!!!

Amazing services, nice and friendly, lovely food definitely worth money I'll be definitely going again to China city, The young lady what severed us she was lovely with nice smile, she was definitely down to earth , and really well Managed the manger should be really proud to have her can't fault this place amazing food & staff the food didn't take long to cook

We had a take away beef and tomato enjoyed every mouth full but chips could do with attention though. Very friendly staff and the restaurant looks brilliant. We shall be calling again in the near future.
