Great Fish and Chips, couldn’t fault them. We had a vegetarian dining with us so she got the Vegetarian option but upon asking the chips that are on the Vegetarian option are cooked in beef dripping.. How many people have been caught out by this..Not good at all… Very poor..But I reiterate the fish and chips were very good..

This wasn’t a great chippy experience. My scampi was nothing better than the frozen stuff you can cook at home, and the chips lacked both colour and taste. Undercooked, I’d say.My friend didn’t seem enamoured by his fish and chip meal, either.I wish we’d just got takeaway somewhere else.

Warm and friendly welcome. Attentive staff. Attractive prices. Pleasant and clean room with sea view. But if you're looking for crispy battered fish with tasty chips we were extremely disappointed. Fish both Haddock and Cod were lacking in crispy batter. Both were greasy. Chips were dry and bland in colour and unappetising. Very disappointing. Neither of us felt well within a few hrs. A total waste of £22

We came with quite a large group of 2 family's and it was a great choice. Steak pie was the best I have tasted, lots of meat, meal for 9 of us was excellent value, service was great as well. Everything was clean even the toilets. Will go back again.

Food was so poor couldn’t stomach it. Greasy, flavourless and mushy. The staff were kids and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. We didn’t com here expecting French Cuisine but we’re looking for seaside fish and chips. Di’dnt cut it for me disappointed

Came the other day as we was staying in Scarborough for the week with family and fancied a day in Bridlington. This was the first cafe we came across that looked reasonably priced. Wish we didn’t bother, much better places in Scarborough. Food was mediocre. Staff was unpleasant. Me and the wife have a sweet tooth and was wanting to order a dessert. Called over the young small girl and she huffed at me, she made it clear customers wanting serving is an inconvenience for her. Won’t be returning to this establishment.

Honestly absolutely lovely food, we all enjoyed everything we had. However, the girls that where working were so so rude, upon arrival (given the advertisement outside is purely based on the fact you can sit and look out to the water) she wanted to put us at the first part of the restaurant, when the sea side came into view I could see it was empty so asked if we could sit in that area, she thrust the menus in my hand and said “yeah you can take these then”. She gave no indication on how we order, so I went up to the counter to order, same girl told me “no we will come to you”. We then ordered the food with this same girl, all fine, then the food came and one of my children’s meals was incorrect, normal sausage came instead of battered, I told the other waitress this and she said she would change it, as she walked passed the girl who took the order she said (with absolutely no attempt to lower her voice) “they never asked for battered”. No we didn’t, but I’m not paid to double check, I also over heard another family order the same and the other waitress to the one that served us ASKED if they wanted battered or normal. It completely ruined the whole place, the food, the atmosphere everything, I’ve never come across more entitled rude individuals. The fact there’s trust pilot reviews literally printed as decor in this place is such a shame, to who ever the owner is, your staff are making a mockery of you. By the looks of other reviews and speaking to the few tables around us, this isn’t the first time the staff have acted this way. Won’t be returning.

Loved this place. Bought the jumbo fish and chips (and a spare plate cos we were sharing). It was beautiful. The fish was massive and perfectly flaky. Will definitely return next time I'm in Bridlington.

Visited here today with my mum, food was nice however my mum had a little accident and choked on abit of meat and was struggling I stood up and shouted for help as a member of staff was stood right behind me and she looked at me and basically told me that she didn’t know what she was doing another member of staff did bring her a glass of water and then left us to it no one offered any more support and didn’t even come back and ask if she was okay very poor resulted in her not eating much of her dinner and then when we left not one person asked if we was okay

Lovely warm welcome into a clean establishment, the toilets were immaculate The young ladies serving were fast, efficient and friendly. Food came out quickly, it was hot and tasted lovely. Prices were very cheap for a sit down and eat place. There are fish and chip shops near me that charge nearly as much for takeaway. Well worth a visit.

The food isn't that great to be honest, the chips were good but the fish was horrible and the batter was like a sponge. The kids meals were bang on. The fact i had to pay extra for curry sauce or mushy peas was a bit much pushing the bill upto 50 bux for 3 meals and the coke was cheap and nasty. And final nail in the coffin was a sighn on the wall telling customers they can't order from the kids menu if your over 12. I'm sorry but it shouldn't matter what you order if your a paying customer. So for that reason alone you got 1*
