We booked the Lobster Pot as we were staying near by and have 2 young dogs which we didn't want to leave at home whilst we ate out. Every thing was excellent the food, the selections, value for money and most definitely the amazing staff. We actually booked whilst there for the following evening.

Food was awful. 1st we wanted 8oz steak and a mixed grill but they didn't have any.Hunters chicken was way over cooked, slightest bit of BBQ sauce, you couldn't taste it and the lettuce was going brown and had an weird sauce on.Bacon and cheese burger had 1 small piece of bacon on couldn't taste it only knew it was there by looking and was raw in the middle so couldn't eat it.Paid over £120 for 5 people it was horrendous food.Way overpriced for awful food came away very disappointed and still hungry. Also noticed dogs was allowed inside which isn't ideal.Would give zero stars if I could.

Place is nice enough, as were staff. Food was basic, but ok. My issue is price of soft drinks. £3.90 for a pint of coke is too much. You shouldn’t be penalised for not drinking alcohol. I understand overheads, but you can still make a decent profit charging £2 for a pint of pop.

We stayed here overnight in the hotel part as-well as eating in the restaurant. We were really anxious as food reviews were not great. The food was actually really nice, we had a breakfast in the morning and in the evening had food and drinks of which all were nice. The room we stayed in was clean with plenty of tea/coffee/sugar and enough towels for our stay. The beds were comfy and the room had a tv, hairdryer. The reason for the 4 stars is in the restaurant they only had one type of alcohol free gin and a couple types of beer. Other restaurants have much more variety, the cost of alcohol free was overpriced too. Staff could have been a bit happier. My mother in law stayed in the disabled room which was spacious and had alarms should she need to use them, the fire doors though are extremely heavy. Although they are very good fire doors they are very difficult and heavy to open. The other thing I would say is that each room should have two key cards. The cards have to put in to use the electricity so when my partner went outside to the car. I was left in the pitch black at night time and you need the card to get back into the building. Not ideal really.Apart from these picky suggestions we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Food: GorgeousWaiting time: very good.Staff: very friendly and looked like they enjoyed working there.Nathan was our waiter and he’s a credit to your company. Very happy, attentive and polite. Will definitely come again. Our babysitter works in catering and her chef said he’d visited on Mother’s Day and the food was good. If a chef says the foods good then it must be. And it was, we rarely get out, so when we do out we don’t want to be disappointed. We certainly weren’t this evening. We had prawn cocktail, calamari to start followed by chicken and chorizo kebab and the gammon. Excellent. Very happy. The first time and definitely not the last.
On a recent holiday to Bridlington, we spent two nights eating here. The service was excellent despite it being busy on the second night we went.Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, especially the burger we had, it was one of the best we have had.Overall a great little pub, with great food and service. Definitely value for money.

I was disappointed to find no stakes of any kind available, even though 3 options are on the menu.I find that, with a restaurant of this size, very hard to understand. Usually if a venue cant offer what is on the menu. you are informed before you order to avoid such disappointment.
