Excellent fish and chips. The curry sauce was quality. Totally forgot to order mushy peas. But have to say one of the best we have had

You will not beat this place for Quality, Taste, Service & Value for money in Bridlington. They know what they are doing at this very old established Fish & Chip takeaway & Restaurant. We have visited many other fish & chip shops in Bridlington before but this place is the best. The portions are not the biggest, so if you looking for quantity over quality you will not get it here. What you will get is the best tasting Fish & Chips you’ve ever tasted, guaranteed served with a smile. Also the food is cooked to order and it’s not from frozen like some of their competitors.

Arrived at 4.30pm and everything was shut strange for a fish and chip shop it only appears to be open 11.00 to 4.00

Bridlington on the only sunny day on my trip back to the UK from Cambodia. I'm from Hull originally and no trip to the seaside is complete without fish and chips by the sea. The Trawl was perfect. Excellent and happy service and wonderful food. The haddock and chips with salt and vinegar was wonderful. Crispy batter and moist flaky haddock was delicious. Great work.

Of all the many chippies there are in Bridlington, this one is a true Traditional fish & chip shop. Everything is cooked to order so it's fresh and tasty. Portions are generous and at very reasonable prices. The staff are welcoming, friendly, mature and experienced. We highly recommend.

We love this chippy. The food is great quality. Really enjoy the special - good portion of chips, haddock or cod, a drink and a bread roll - £9.50. Great value. Lovely service. Great traditional fish and chip shop. Cash only. Plenty of cash machines nearby.

As others have said the seating area of the cafe is very basic but with friendly staff, good quality food and very reasonable prices this was a great stop for lunch on a grim day in Brid. Luckily we had read other reviews and took cash with us to pay so that wasn’t a problem. Would definitely go back.

Went today for a meal, as my elderly mother wanted to sit down and my partner is in a wheelchair ♿️. We all had cod, chips, bread rolls, and a mug of tea all for £10 each. All cooked fresh and tasted amazing, well worth the money. Staff were great. The only surprise was that we were the only people eating at the time, which is why we only gave the place 2 stars for the atmosphere. Will definitely highly recommend and will be going back before the holiday ends. There is a step to get into the building, so my partner, who has limited mobility, got out of her wheelchair to enter.

Good old fashioned fish and chips just how they should

Had take away fish and chips from here tonight. What a lovely family run chippy. Did a bit of research as there was so many to try and wasnt disappointed. Reasonably priced and really tasty fish and chips, two of us had Cod and two had Haddock. Spoke with owner who was serving and what a lovely lady and so friendly. Just a note, the takeaway side is cash only. If you are in two minds where to get fish and chips from definitely gives these a try.

Best chippie in Bridlington. The fryer Ian always makes you welcome, and the staff are always very chatty.
