Really good value well cooked meals with reasonable drink prices and friendly staff. Dog friendly and entertainment for free.

Male bar staff member was so rude and intimidating. Bald man followed me upstairs when my card didn’t work, (no one told me at the time) in my face shouting ‘you’ve not paid for your drinks’. He scared me and he could’ve gone around this another way such as ‘your card didn’t work’ but he was very intimidating, how he stood and talked was very aggressive and angry. No matter how cheap I’ll never go here again because customer service was diabolical and threatening.

A bit like the old club atmosphere, everyone seemed so happy and you got the feeling you could have a chat with anyone. It was happy hour when I went in and it lasted 12 til 3 and it was an unbelievable £2 a pint. The menu was extensive and was mostly made up of good old British dishes including the likes of liver and onions, stew and dumplings, yummy yummy. The steward and his wife were really friendly and nothing appeared to be too much to ask. There appeared to be several bingo days which were obviously very popular. I will definitely be popping in on my next visit ?

We can here for food, ordered some drinks but could not stay for food or more drinks. The place smells awful. It is that bad it turns your stomach. Someone needs to get the bleach out! Sadly won't be back.

A very nice and low key pub to enjoy a few nice drinks for those who prefer quiet places as opposed to loud night clubs. Very nice environment and good vibes.I went for my birthday recently and had a great time on the dance floor. Everyone, customers and staff, were very friendly and polite.I would like to say a very big thank you to Derek, the Land Lord, for looking after me in a time of need when there were no Taxis to get me back to my hotel. Very much appreciated. Thank you.I didn't put any stars for food because I only had a few pints of Coca-Cola and some J2os. Unless you count a bag of crisps and a bag of pork scratchings as food of course. Thanks again for the great birthday.

Place lovely inside, Clean and friendly and kind staff, we didn`t have food but we saw it being served, and if we went again we would defo order the Sunday dinner. The outside smoking area wasn`t so pleasant, don`t get me wrong it was clear but it was next to the bins, and there was only one bench n table. Not ideal to take kids out to in my opinion.
