I've always bought cream doughnuts from cooplands well no more they were dry tasteless hardly any cream in them overall very poor I worked for cooplands many years ago when produce was at high standards sadly no longer the case sorry you have lost a regular customer and I didn't just buy doughnuts

I have been shopping at this bakery shop for ten years, but within the last year the stock has been run down, the shop looks empty, it looks like an end of business sale, they hardly have much choice in stock, they seem to have stopped selling there full range. It is very disappointing, and looks strange when you walk in and there is hardly much there. It is a shame as it was a great well stocked shop with nice staff, and use to be very busy.

I called in Cooplands to buy a takeaway tea and a cake before I caught the train home from Driffield. Even though it was less than 30 minutes before closing time and the staff were starting to clear things away, the staff were attentive and obliging

My husband got a ham salad on a large white bap. It was appalling. It was a large bap but the same filling you'd put in a standard size sandwich only worse. It was about £4! Christ if you can't make a decent sarni then there's no hope

Firstly I would like to point out I have regularly visited this cafe for years (at least 10) No complaints with the food at all. A good variety of snacks or light meals and always a good selection of sweet treats. Unfortunately since opening after the Covid lockdown a new member of staff has made a huge difference to the whole atmosphere in there. She always appears moody and not someone who you can pass the time of day with in fact I can say she is rude. Clearly she doesn’t want to be there. This is so disappointing as it stands out all the other staff work as a team, they are pleasant and come across as happy in their job. It has come up in conversation with other customers about this member of staff and by no means am I the only one with this opinion. I loved going in there to sit and have a coffee and a little passing conversation but have to say I now think twice, it’s just not the same and it stands out why. Sorry June you have to go !!

I have been coming in this shop for 35 years and never had a problem. Well you let me down this Christmas. Ordered and paid for my bread rolls as usual and was picked up mid morning. Christmas day, they were so dry , nobody could eat them. Usually last days and still fresh. Very disappointed and won’t be doing that again.

I popped here to grab sandwiches for lunch. Freshly made chicken and bacon and chicken tikka, with a sausage roll to accompany it. Really good and tasty. Worth a visit as well it you want a meal deal too!
