“Jack Kennedys fish and chip shop is a traditional fish shop. Everything is cooked in beef dripping, which is more flavoursome than oil. The small haddock and chips are very good value. All the fish is cooked fresh to order. They also do an honemade fish pattie highly recommended. A great fish shop takeaway only.”

“Lovely chip shop, we always stop off on our way home from the coast as so much nicer and not over priced”

“Often had takeaway, decided to 'dine-in' today and what a pleasure it was. We had the pensioner special, fish, chips, mushy peas with a side of bread & butter, pot of tea and delicious dessert. Everything was perfect, the staff are pleasant and efficient, all freshly prepared hot food and generous tasty puddings. Well done, keep up the good work”

“Pensioners special is the way to go. Fish and chips, peas, then a choice of sweet and it can’t be beat. We rate all of the fish and chip shops with this one.”

“Usually good but today I decided to have something different - duck and orange sauce. There were a couple of slices of orange, a few pieces of duck, and loads and loads of pineapple. The sauce even tasted more of pineapple than it did orange. Very disappointing.”
