Just had a meal. The restraunt was very cold so we had to eat in our coats. Our order was taken and read back but one of our meals were missing. When we asked we were told it was on its way but had clearly been forgotten. Then when the meal was brought it was the wrong meal. At this point everyone else had eaten and the sides were getting cold so we said we no longer wanted the fourth meal. The chicken chow mein was also disappointing, the chicken was dry and it was very salty. Disappointing experience especially after it was reccomended to us. Will not return.

I went in and automatically felt off about the place. When i ordered the woman taking my order said it right but she completely got the order wrong. Afterwards me and my friends and sister were eating our meal and my sister got black beans instead or black pepper sauce and she is allergic to the black beans and she was very close to eating them. Also we had hairs in our food then got very bad attitude from a worker on the phone, they are rude and inconsiderate and trying to say we are lying. Just to add, after a 5 minute walk journey home it is stone cold. We had many workers on the phone to us giving us bad attitude. Unfortunately we never got more food even though we binned the food. Absolutely disgraceful service and i highly do not recommend i will definitely not be ordering from here again as i do not want hairs in my food.

Dined New Year's Eve, great atmosphere, lovely help staff, Amazing food. Had the set menu for two, £28.00 pp but well worth it.

Reviews invariably mention good service, and l wholeheartedly agree. However, we have been concerned to hear from more than one waitress that they have to hand over tips to management, and they receive no share of them. Neither, they say, do they receive a share of the service charge.

The Water Margin is one of our 'go to' restaurants in Driffield. You are always made welcome, and our visit yesterday was no exception. Jeanette was in very good form, and the staff were very engaging and made our meal incredible fun.The food was first class as always, and the Sunlik slipped down a treat.Another pleasant dining experience, thank you.

Poor management, shouting at the young staff in the restaurant - not acceptable at all. Banquet Dynasty was not worth the money as only 2 - 4 pieces of meat in each main course so for £56 it's shockingly over priced. Young staff at the front of house were lovely though. Will not return again and I'm also putting a negative review on TripAdvisor.

Lovely food and great service but it’s terribly expensive for a takeaway meal.

Went to water margin tonight for a quick takeaway, I ordered pork ribs and fried scallops with asparagus, got home, the ribs had no meat on them whatsoever and the scallop dish i had only had two pieces of scallops smaller then 5p pieces, 4 strands of asparagus and the rest was just chopped onions and sauce! I rang up to complain and the manager was very rude, said I couldn’t have a refund n called me a liar! Definitely won’t be going again!! £15 for chopped onions ?

The food was the worst Chinese Ive ever tasted it all went in the bin. The rice was like it had been sat there for ages and microwaved the main dish had no flavour it was just disgusting and over priced.

An old fashioned Chinese restaurant, it feels very relaxing- and the staff are friendly and efficient - a very extensive menu, even local lobster when available- the food is well cooked and presented

Pretty unenjoyable takeaway, I collected so it wouldn’t be cold when I got it, but it had obviously been sitting there a while as was only Luke warm when I got it home after a five minute car journey.Salt and pepper prawns had no taste at all, chow mein is vermicelli noodles, overall taste was quite poor, not the worst Chinese I’ve had but a very long way from being near the best. And so expensive as well, I wouldn’t recommend and I’ll never order from here again.

Great food. 7 of us went for a family meal last night. Really friendly attentive staff. Even let us bring our own birthday cake!

1 x starter, 2 mains, 1 x fried rice, 1 x pint of beer, and 2 tonics for £46.00.Food tasted nice but expensive. No atmosphere at all, as we were the only diners 6:30 to 7:45.
