Unfriendly service, good wine, the worst bruschetta we’ve even eaten. Shame on you! We payed a lot for 2 slices of bad bread with some tomatoes, no olive oil.

Family Sunday lunch 1st July. There was me my granddaughter her husband and Great granddaughter. We had a lovely time. Delicious food. Particular attention paid to 4year old Abigail with colouring sheet and pencils. Waiting staff very cheery and helpful. Thank you.

For the life of me, I cannot fathom why this restaurant gets such good reviews. Where our table was located lacked any character or atmosphere. My mozzarella in carrozza consisted of two mozzarella balls and, bizarrely, a potato one. The thin carrozza looked like it was the juice from a tin of tomatoes. My wife's Arrosto di Legumi e Balsamico had zero balsamic. Her main, lasagna al forno was pretty much just a slab of pasta which had a fleeting brush with some meat sauce. My gnocchi was not to bad, but nothing memorable. And the good points? Nice staff, great coffee.I don't like posting negative reviews, but I'm afraid this had to be one! Avoid.

Delicious Italian food with good selection for vegetarians & vegans. Friendly staff. I used to go here a lot but, as I don't live locally, it's been a while. As good as ever. Will return. Reasonable set lunch menu with nice options as well. Worth a visit.

We have just had the most amazing Italian meal. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent even though the restaurant was extremely busy. As always, it's a case of simple ingredients beautifully cooked and well presented. We enjoyed it so much that we are going there again on Saturday for lunch.

We arrived in Bexhill late on Friday and were looking for a restaurant. We walked in and were asked if we had a reservation. I said we did not and I looked around at this almost packed restaurant.Much to my surprise, the gentleman hurried upstairs and prepared a table for us and that was one my luckiest days, because from the service to the quality of the food it was all flawless. Our waiter was attentive and we wanted for nothing. Then the big surprise we received the bill. Half what I would expect to pay in the US. For food that made us feel like we were back in Italy.Our friends joined us for a day and again we went for dinner, we all experienced the same level of service and quality again. We were able to eat here once more during our trip and again the experience was exceptional.I highly recommend going out of your way to eat here, make a reservation if possible because the real disappointment would be missing this experience.

We have been using this restaurant for years and it never fails to impress with the quality of its food and the superb service. All the staff here are so good you realise just how service should be. If you are visiting Bexhill this is the place to go for good honest Italian Food. If you are local you will already know how good it is.

Had this restaurant recommended to me from a friend, and certainly was not disappointed with the food. From the starter of mozzarella in carrozza, to the main spaghetti bolognese both dishes came out piping hot and feel for a restaurant this busy that the prices must be good too. I must admit the service was slow, but apologies were made and as I said the restaurant was very busy and feel the food was worth waiting for. My friend had the same starter but a diavola pizza and also enjoyed it. I certainly would go back and do recommend you book in advance.

Excellent food. Really good salad. Good choice on menu, catering for vegan and gluten intolerance as well as regular Italian fare. Superb customer service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited with friends when visiting Bexhill and was glad we popped in, in the afternoon to make a reservation as it was busy even on a spring Sunday evening (which is always a good sign). The food was good honest Italian food with a range of choices including some classics, pizza and pasta dishes. The starters were a real highlight as was the very good espresso at the end. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you have a gig at the De La Warr that evening

Travelling from Australia to catch up with some friends, this restaurant was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. We were a group of five and quickly settled and orders taken Our group was well looked after by the friendly staff and all meals were declared to be very tasty. Shame that none of us had any room left for desserts.

We found this restaurant on our way home from staying away on holiday and it was a great choice. All the members of staff were really friendly. The food smelt delicious and I couldn't wait for ours to arrive. The portion sizes were super and it all tasted as delicious as it smelt! I only wish we lived closer by so we could visit again - we will definitely return if we are ever passing by. Thank you all!
