Pizza was great, cocktails were nice, but all but one meal was served Luke warm, the starter sadly cold in the middle and I’m pretty sure the pasta dishes were not cooked fresh. Toilets were 2/3 out of order which created a queue for the toilet which wasn’t a problem but isn’t ideal. They have signs inside the restaurant saying they do not accept cash, which is the main reason why I’ve even left a review, I wanted to email but couldn’t find an email on the website. We will not be returning as paying the way we chose to was made to be an issue when it shouldn’t be. The manager reluctantly took the cash, he was not rude I want to make clear all the staff were friendly enough but it sure was awkward as had to be checked. I’m sure had we not had been served all our meals we may not have even been allowed a seat at the table because of this. It’s something I am standing against from now as this is discriminatory to people that want to pay cash. You are questioned and made to feel awkward and it is not ok. I am now making a point of making a complaint again every company doing this and will not be returning to any of them in the future. Cash is important to life as we know it now, once it is gone there will be no way of getting it back. Rant over.

Lovely food, typical Italian cuisine (they have to have a real Italian Cook!). Whatever is the choice, seafood, pizza or pasta and risotto or dessert, there is always a large portion of delicious food served. Price correlated to the quality. Perfect for eating out occasions. In the Christmas period they have lovely Christmassy music

This restaurant omgoodness !!! Is so overpriced. My partner paid £25 for steak then noticed on the bill we paid £3 for the sauce to accompany the steak !!! My food was just about warm so returned it to be heated up my partners food was warm Asked for it to be heated up that took so long his steak was nearly cold . Went to this restaurant many years ago and remember even then how expensive it was .. others we wanted to go to instead were booked out .. an expensive lesson learned ? we will not be going again . Wonderful singer and guitarist saved the evening .. and the pleasant professional staff and pizza makers were a delight happy and singing along.

Booked this restaurant for my wife and myself to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant was not very busy as it was early. We were seated at out table with the menus and the waiter then left us. When we were ready to order i had some problem getting the waiter attention. He was leaning on the counter looking the other way as he spent most of his time doing so. He took our order and then he did not come near us for the rest of the evening as we were served by others. We were served our startes which were very nice the spent 10 minutes looking at dirty plates. the plates were removed and then another 15 minutes wait for our main course and the dishes we had were both excellent. After looking at dirty plates once more for over 15 minutes I eventually got some attension and asked for the Desert Menu. This did not arrive and after a further 15 minutes i got up and spoke to the Manager and told him of the very bad service we had recieved and asked for the bill. This came quite promptly and then i asked him to deduct the service charge as i did not wish to pay it. I and my wife could not fault the food at this restaurant and the wine we choose was good and a reasonable price. Cannot comment on the Deserts as we had got fed up waiting for a menu. Food good Service atrocious.

Amazing Italian place - loved it here. My boyfriend took me here and it was deeeelish. Loved the pizza and calamari - big portions calamari was perfect to share for a starter. We also had delish lemon cheesecake for desert and also a lemon sorbet... only ordered one scoop and it was massive, enough for us both to share and still some leftover! Nice atmosphere too we sat on the upstairs balcony thing. Got a table on a busy Saturday evening without booking which was nice. Staff lovely too and good service.10/10

This is an amazing place to eat, drink and enjoy Brighton vibe from the hidden Italian gem. We've been here already several times as a family or with friends and always were welcomed by the stuff even though we have a toddler who is running around the place ?Quality wise, it's the best pizza I tried in Brighton so far and the same perfect taste as I had in Italy.I'd definitely recommend Al Duomo for coffee break or lunch/dinner. Thank you❤️??Kid-friendliness: You definitely can take you kids with you

We had a birthday celebration party today, Saturday 2nd of December, we were looked after very well by a young team of enthusiastic waiters, the food was superb, very tasty and plentiful, we have had a great time celebrating in a lovely separate room. Thank you all at Al duomo, we shall return very soon.

Al duomo to the rescue! We headed to Al Duomo after the restaurant we had booked wasn’t open due to a family emergency, it was clearly very busy however we were greeted by Hannah who somehow managed to get us a table and she arranged it very quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. All of the staff were warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome and never rushed which we really appreciate from restaurants, the food was excellent with the fried ravioli and the seafood risotto being particularly good! Thank you so much to Hannah for accommodating us at such short notice and for looking after us! Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going to Brighton anytime soon!!

Excellent Italian! Located right next to Brighton Pavilion gardens, great atmosphere, service and food. Children welcome.

AMAZING! Thought this could be quite touristy and not the best quality as it's in the centre of Brighton in the Pavilion. But not true at all - all authentic dishes. Amazing pasta, friendly staff, a great atmosphere for my birthday meal. The staff had mixed up our booking which they were so apologetic about, but got us a table within 15 minutes even though they were very busy. They brought me out a chocolate dessert for my birthday which I can honestly say was one of the nicest I've eaten in my life! Service was brilliant, cannot fault this place in any way. Grazie mille.

As per usual, the service was excellent. There were about 20 of us, and we all agreed that the service and food was 5 star. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel like we were sitting round a family dinner table. Thanks again, and we will be back!!

Very well situated near the Brighton Pavilion. Lovely atmosphere, exceptional service by Hannah who was very knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating to our preferences. We had an insalta mista and the Zuppa Di Pesce which was full of different types of fish and shellfish, absolutely delicious! For desserts we had the tiramisu which came with a little espresso on the side. All in all a lovely place to eat in next time we're in Brighton.

My first visit but my wife has been several times. Great food. Wonderful attentive service. Decor a bit bland but will definitely return if only for the amazing desserts !!

Came for the express lunch after previously visiting for an evening meal. £20 for three courses was absolutely amazing. The food was great and such big portions. Our favourite place to eat in Brighton on our visit.
