This Brighton branch is really fun, lively and friendly. The food is also great! I love the decor and the fact that it's an old house. The atmosphere is always calm and relaxing, staff are warm and friendly and I love coming here.Kid-friendliness: Always great with kids!

Two rooms. One bright almost brash nice finish, the other dull lacklustre. Friendly service and tasty food. New menu makes it hard to choose from so many great sounding dishes.Parking: No near parking. Go to multi stories.

Michael is the most friendly, affable, and attentive server. We loved having lots of starters to share, and he was very accommodating and welcoming. Great service. 5 ⭐

Fabulous food, I had the vegan Christmas carbonara, service was perfect, attentive and friendly. Would definitely dine in again.

Portions were poor for the price. Upstairs was super cold. Tasty but probably wouldn't go back in a hurry. Better options out there for the price

We had a fantastic late lunch here on Sunday, enjoyable food and great professional service from Shea and Oliver, the restaurant had a really nice friendly buzz!Vegetarian options: Probably half the menu is vegetarian, really good choice.

My daughter and I visited on a busy Saturday evening at about 6pm. We did not have a reservation but a table was found on the proviso we would be finished in one hour. Our initial server asked about allergies, to which my daughter advised an allergy to lemon. Despite this tap water was delivered to the table with two glasses that both had a slice of lemon in!That was quickly resolved and our food orders arrived quickly. They were tasty and good portion sizes. They have great vegan choices including a dessert (not just sorbet or vegan ice cream) which is very rare!

Arrived 10 mins before time. To be greeted by a very miserable member of staff who then showed us to our seats. We waited and waited for menus, in the meantime another table was prioritised as they came in. I got up went and asked for menus, once got waited another 15 mins and still not served. So then decided to leave and go around the corner to Browns, a far better experience. This is the second and last time i’ve had to write about this place. TBH there are so many options in the part of Brighton, choose one of those. I will certainly never darken their door again.

Went for a birthday ?. The food was amazing but there was a large gap from starter to main.No continuity to service but she was very nice.Would recommend highly .

We were waiting for food for an hour and it came cold. It was very loud during our meal, because of some children. When paying the bill the waitress asked “do you really not want to leave a tip?”

Had a nice meal here with the boss. It was quite busy even though we were there for 5:30pm. We hadn't booked but they were very

Great atmosphere and food; enjoyed the main course, although the appetizer could be improved. The staff, especially Fin, was exceptionally nice and kind.

I came to Ask with my bestie and we both ordered the burrata and prosciutto carbonara and we were so in awe we were speechless. Alongside the establishment being so warm and cosy, Mike was an excellent host/waiter and made sure we were comfortable and that everything was perfect for us. Very happy girlies
