Delightful little café in the heart of Brighton’s famous Lanes. An impressive menu of cakes and light lunch bites for its size with lovely seating area upstairs, bar stools downstairs or outside seating in warmer weather. Board games available to borrow and play during your visit should you wish. Busy, bright Brighton themed decor which adds to the lovely atmosphere.Drinks and cakes were delicious and a good price. We stumbled across this cafe on a day trip to Brighton and loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful (we were given a little taster of one of the sauces they use), the coffee was great (nice and strong without a bitter after-taste) and the toasted sandwiches were extremely good. The Spicy One, as it’s called on the menu, was perfection.

Stopped for a coffee and were struck by the friendly atmosphere and excellent coffee and hot chocolate that we returned the next day for lunch.Toasties was substantial and delicious and the carrot and coriander soup was a tasty option.All in all, a great independent coffee house and restaurant and very worth a visit.
