“Really nice American guy helped us with our orders. It was a little chaotic. We ordered 4 breakfasts but they didn't come together. My son only ordered pancakes and it was 30 minutes after we had finished our breakfast that we went up and asked for them to go as we had a boat trip, they still weren't done but they had served lot's of others in between. The food was nice but just not great service from the kitchen. Front staff were amazing.”

“Break and Milk in Brighton is an absolute gem, especially for anyone passing through or near the station. Just a short walk away, this cozy coffee shop quickly became a favorite of mine. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a warm, relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for anything from a quick coffee run to a leisurely afternoon.
Their coffee is exceptional, crafted with care and high-quality beans that you can taste in every sip. I tried a flat white, which was smooth and perfectly balanced – you can tell they really know their coffee here. Their menu also has a great selection of pastries and snacks, each beautifully presented and delicious, making it hard to pick just one!
The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, clearly passionate about what they do and happy to chat about their favorite menu items. Even during busier hours, the service was prompt and the team seemed genuinely engaged with customers, which added to the positive experience.
For anyone near the station looking for a spot that offers both convenience and quality, Break and Milk is a must-visit. It’s the kind of place you’ll find yourself returning to again and again.
I know I definitely will!”

“No.13 is a lovely little coffee shop, with a huge section of bakes which all looks delicious and loads of vegan options. The coffee is great, we had both iced and hot coffee and all were 10/10. Would highly recommend their matcha. The ladies that served us were lovely too! Definitely worth a visit ☺️”

“I love this place and really appreciate how they catered to my friend with coeliac disease
The staff were able to quickly and confidently highlight which menu items my coeliac friend could safely enjoy, and ensured that her gluten free bagel was safely prepared to avoid cross contaminants.
We really appreciated being able to enjoy a delicious lunch worry-free.
