We wanted a healthy lunch and stumbled on this place, a short walk from Churchill Square shopping centre. I ordered the Butter beans in a delicious smokey tomato sauce and you then order 3 accompanying side salads. All absolutely delicious and very good portions, I was actually stuffed afterwards!! The wife just ordered the 3 salads, which was plenty. Service and advice given was excellent and prices very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

My friend had an amazing vegan breakfast and I had a full English, both full of flavour. We enjoyed them so much we went back for a takeaway lunch, choice of numerous delicious salads. Would recommend!

We ordered a variety of food from Foodilic via deliveroo. My friend ordered the eggs benedict. The hollandaise was curdled and oily looking and her ham was completely grey. All around unappetising. I ordered a brownie which I had not realised until i opened up the box was covered in nuts. I am allergic to nuts so I did double check on their deliveroo site for any allergen information for which there was none, so i assumed it was safe, this is not entirely their fault but would’ve appreciated the heads up. My friend and i both ordered juices. I had the ‘freshly squeezed’ orange juice which tasted like it was squeezed in someones armpit. It was unbelievably bitter and thin and tasted NOTHING like oranges. My friend had the apple carrot and ginger juice which she said tasted like dirt and mouldy carrots.\\n\\nOn a positive note, our other friend had the butterbeans with sweet potato which was very nice and was a generous portion size!

After waiting for more than 35 minutes for the food the food was incomplete at the plate , and the taste was bad and don’t have butter for the toast . Nor recommend for vegan food.

To use the toilet in this restaurant you have to go down stairs the area was very dirty and I pass a food storage area and a chef was going through a mouldy furry box of veg . If you want people to come back dont be lazy clean the restaurant properly and throw away the mouldy old food give your customers some respect .

Visiting Brighton this weekend and stumbled upon this place for lunch. Ended up coming back the next day for breakfast too! The staff are lovely, service great. Nice outdoor seating in the sun with little barriers separating it from the road. The lunch options of the different salad boxes are delicious, lots of choice, not just greens but also sweet potato, tofu and others. Then the breakfast was amazing - we had the full vegan which was the perfect size, with some nice flavours and light spices thrown in to elevate what is normally, at most places, a vegan take take on a bland British "classic". Everything exceeded our expectations. We'll be back.

Visited last week upon recommendation by a friend and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered a takeaway lasagne slice with a side of sweet potato for £5, which was great value for how full my lunch left me. Lovely staff who helped me decide what to order- will defo be visiting again!!

I’m upset to be writing such a negative review as I think this place has such amazing potential. However, the one thing I have to say is the place is absolutely filthy, whilst the food was okay I felt uncomfortable sitting and eating in such a dirty environment. The table we sat at was not wiped down so still had food debris on it as well as the last customers beaker of water- now this is a minor inconvenience in NORMAL circumstances, however, during a PANDEMIC You would think simply wiping down the table would be the least you could do to keep customers safe. The toilet door was wide open Right next to the table people are eating at, this could have been the last customer admittedly, but the state of the toilet looked like something you would expect on a camping trip if you get what I mean. The salt and pepper shakers were both blocked and had obviously not been wiped in months, the upholstery on the benches was sooooo dirty, I understand it’s hard to clean outside furniture but when it’s so obviously full of filth please replace!!! Honestly the staff were very friendly and had I not felt uncomfortable the food would have been enjoyable and flavoursome, great value for money and a fantastic take on healthy food and causal dining. However, unfortunately this is all irrelevant due to the state of the place. No fault of the chefs or staff but please the management need to put some cleaning Rotas in place as clearly there is a lack of adherence to food hygiene guidelines. Again I’m disappointed to be leaving such a negative review and it would not be necessary if the place was just a little messy but I can’t stress enough how dirty I found it, maybe just an off day but i would simply not eat here again.

We were visiting Brighton today and decided to give this lovely cafe a visit. We had a pan au chocolate and a croissant and a coffee each for £6.50 which we thought was a great price and they were so fresh. What made our visit was the lovely friendly waitress who made us feel extremely welcome. Thank you. We visit Brighton every year and will definitely return to this lovely cosy little cafe. Ps the salads looked amazing. We highly recommend
