Wonderful, cosy and perfectly authentic pub. Even has a perfectly slight out of tune piano. Many of the regulars bring their dogs, which is an obvious plus.

In many other places this is the sort of pub that would be the highlight of a pub crawl. Here it's just another excellent pub close to other excellent pubs in a city seemingly full of them , if I lived here I would have problems!This is a small cozy slightly dark, heavenly non macro beer range, and friendly everyone. Hard to leave...Vegetarian options: Vegan cask ale

All beers on tap are brewed in-house and often in situ (and they’re all impeccable. They’ve been doing this a while). Bar staff, regulars, and atmosphere are all delightful. Best pub in Brighton hands down.
