“If you wanted to try the typical South Indian food in UK. This is a must go place if you are missing South Indian food. The 3.99£/4.99£ chicken/mutton gravy was the bestest? Biryani's were amazing and they make separate prawn biryani which has its own unique taste. Great job keep it up guys”

“We now use this as our Indian takeaway. The place is really clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. We order the classic dishes which come with rice, popadom and usually some water melon and onion salad. We have starters which usually consists of onion bhajees, samosas, mixed tikka or reshmi kebab all of which are really tasty. Sometimes we order a bread of some description but to be honest the main dishes, of which there are many, are very generous in portion size. They will deliver free on orders over £12 but as we're quite local we order by phone then go and pick up the food. I can thoroughly recommend Red Chillies.”

“Decent food, good portions and a good menu. Pretty expensive for what it is however and the service was to start with pretty poor. So a mix bag won’t rush back but never say never”

“As much as I adore the Chilli Pickle, sometimes you don’t want to spend £50 of your hard earned cash on a simple takeaway. Living near Seven Dials have often passed this place and curiosity got the better of me.Celebrating the return of my tastebuds after C19 wiped them out for most of August decided to be lazy and get a mid week takeaway. Most old fashioned curry houses serve dry chicken, over sweet sauces and murdered vegetables, but I am always on the look out for a fairly decent cheap hit of a chicken madras.Ordering: simple and straightforwardTiming: ready for collection when promisedPortion size: Mummy bear; not too big and not too smallTaste: bang on. Chicken juicy, vegetables treated with respect, perfect rice and a delicious mint sauce to dunk crispy popadoms which were cooked in fresh oil.Two mains, rice, naan, popadoms, side veg for twenty quid and just round the corner.A great way to spend your disposable income”

“Since moving to Brighton from Hampshire last year, I've really missed a decent selection of curries at Indian restaurants - being a vegetarian I love menus where they just list the curries and you can choose your meat or a veggie option - it's what I was used to and spoilt with in the great curry houses of Hampshire! (Not sarcasm, there are some REALLY good ones).Kamal's is not the sort of place you'd want to 'eat-in', even if that were an option. It's dated and the staff aren't particularly friendly. But the food is excellent! They always cater to my rather specific orders (I don't like potato) and have a brilliant selection of dishes. Last night they even threw in a free Tadka Dal which was great, and their Sag Aloo (at least the spinach bits... I give away the potato) is honestly the best I've tasted. The look of the building does make me question the hygiene of the food... only reason it isn't getting a higher score (and that's probably just me being pedantic).”
