Having being a big fan Nando’sWorthing & Brighton I’m extremely disappointed with the Hove branch.My 14 year old daughter & her boyfriend visited on Saturday 6th June and have both been violently ill with food poisoning. This has now affected her education as she’s having time off school.I have reported this to the store manager & I will update my review when I get a reply from Nando's Customer Support Team.

Ordered a collection. I ordered a butterfly chicken with lemon and herb. I got an overcooked, super dry and burnt bit of chicken that didn’t resemble butterfly chicken. I’m also certain there wasn’t any sauce on it. I got a really small portion of broccoli and my partners extra hot chicken wings had no sauce on either. Really disappointed as normally love a Nando’s. I couldn’t eat half of mine! My partner’s corn was also undercooked. Just an awful meal.Probably won’t waste my time at this Nando’s again

The place was quite busy but it did take a very long time for our main courses to come after we waited some time our starter came but I had to ask about our main course.Dietary restrictions: Menu should say which things are gluten-free

Had a really poor interaction with a member of staff this evening. The restaurant which was clearly very busy when we arrived so there was no surprise when the individual at the door informed us there would be a 25 minute wait for a table. We were more than happy to wait and I said this would be fine, the individual said nothing more and we left. We returned after 30 minutes and asked for a table of two again - it was the same individual who we had initially spoken to. He said that there was a 30 minute wait for food and we explained we’d been told the same thing 25 minutes ago, so we had returned after waiting as requested. He then asked if we had put our names on “the list”… at this point I’m very confused. there was no mention of a list when we first asked for a table. I imagine it was a genuine miscommunication and it simply wasn’t made clear that we needed to hang around to provide a name. However, after explaining again that we weren’t informed of a list, the worker then sarcastically said “that’s how a queue works”. I responded we were happy to wait, but it’s a shame that no one explained we needed to provide our names and now we would have to wait another 30 minutes. He offered no apology or solution so we left. Given it’s the responsibility of the restaurant to communicate how their queuing system works, it would have been great to receive a friendly apology for the confusion, even if the situation couldn’t be rectified. However, all we received was a patronising comment in front of other customers… the whole experience was really quite embarrassing and a waste of our time in the end.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The manager was very knowledgable and was quick to give good recommendations when asked. Food came out hot and tasting fresh and was delivered very quickly. Great service!

Jesus was absolutely amazing at serving my friends and I! He made our Friday night amazing by providing excellent service with a huge smile on his face. My 2 friends and I needed a table and he was quick to sort it out! We won’t forget how amazing he is and look forward to seeing him again soon! Thanks Jesus!

Nandos is the phenomenal success story that it is because when you're good enough at something that you can specialise in roasting chicken in an international franchise kind of way, the hipster arty walhol-esque art might be different but some things stay the same. The same attentive, knowledgable, professional staff in the restaurant and I the kitchen is another quietly successful thing that Nandos get right.The butterfly chicken breast is my favourite - the mixed grains thing is underwhelming but the new leafy salad is a winner if they'd drizzle a bit of dressing on it.

Sadly due to the service and cleanliness of this location its going to be a low rating. From no cutlery clean to over an hour wait to having to ask yo have the table top cleaned from prior diner to have the staff roll their eyes shuffle along drop the cloth on the floor then spray the table ish as it hit me and did one swoosh of the top missing 90% of the dirt and leaving the table soaked. A lovely diner next yo me couldn't believe it a git me napkins to wipe up the table. Shocking experience. Very unlike Nandos...

This nandos is very nice, I feel!!We live far from Hove but we go from time to time.Staff are friendly, food is cooked well... No stress!!Good atmosphere... Thumbs up!!!

I love Nando’s and take my family often to Nando’s. First time trying Nando’s hove, and I had food poisoning in this branch. Ended up spending two days in bad. I noticed things are going down hill in Nando’s lately and hope they’ll improve.
