Pubs in Brighton

“This is, without a doubt, my favourite pub in the world. Hosts all people from all walks of life. Best whiskey on offer in Brighton. Really reasonable prices. The music is literally *always* perfect for the vibe that day/night. Staff are perpetually lovely. Served by Calum who ticked every box for me. Proper pub with proper ales. Never had a bad time there. If you’re in Brighton, go here; you will not be disappointed.”

“Fantastic service, so friendly and welcoming. Amazing food (we had the Thai tofu salad & loaded fries) and all very affordable. Will be sure to return when we’re next in the area (for the vegan sticky toffee pud!) ?”

“Great small bar, nice decor, good choice of drinks, good music and friendly. Just what a bar should be. Must say very professional / genuine and friendly ladies behind the bar (I think that they are the owners). I never write reviews but they made us feel so welcome being 'out of towners' and on a very busy Pride night! We would def recommend. Great job ladies!”

“Loving this place since it reopened in the last few weeks. Awesome dive-bar vibe that you don't get down here, the music is great - mainly rock. Decor is cool too, feels super authentic. A little gem in North Laine, definitely my new regular”

“Small but cosy with a great atmosphere and a very good selection of beers, most brewed by themselves. Play some Toad!”

“???? - Fantastic Food!It wasn't just the well lit wooden conservatory that attracted us to this pub, but the food looked great. So we had to check it out ?We ordered the broccoli soup of the day, which came piping hot and with a generous amount of bread ? and butter . Perfect for a winter warmer. ??Bangers and mash was really well presented. Loved how they mixed the peas in with the gravy evenly across the dish with the mash and sausages in an island in the middle.Visually quite exciting, if you could describe it as such ?Defo wanna come back.”

“Very cool little pub! Really like their own brewed beer, and the seagull glasses that it comes in. Was quite quiet when we visited as was during the day, but can imagine it’s got a really cool cosy atmosphere on a busy Saturday night.”
