I drive a lot and this one is my local garage, spend around £100 per week, they see me there few times a week, but this morning went to ask if I could use their toilet the manager demanded that I bought something. I was the only customer at the station at the moment. What a way to treat regular clients!

Between the Preston Circus end of London Road and Patcham, there's a couple of small shops, meaning that in that whole distance the only real food shop is the Sainsbury Local who pull that immoral con of knowing they're the only option, they add 20% onto prices - case in point, a litre of milk was £1.65 yesterday, and at the New England road Sainsbury's it cost £1.25, but i digress....Sometimes, Sainsbury's isn't open and waiting until the morning just isn't an option, there's a quiet local option that's not always front and centre of your mental list. Sure, the prices are a bit high, and between 11pm and 7am all transactions happen via the cashiers window, the 24hr Shell garage has been doing it's thing for years. I t's also got a fancy Costa coffee machine, a fee free cash point and there's a big bright yellow row of Amazon delivery lockers called Samir.

I went there before a busy day of travel and work, payed for a full tank. The person asked me to enter my card again although it clearly displayed on Terminal "payment approved" and " get a receipt". He told me I had to do it again I said no as he didnt give me the " payment declined receipt" and he said by law I had to. It was very late and I knew the payment had gone through but paid a second time. He told me if it was the case i could get my money back. Went home phoned bank and sure it was the same sum debited twice.It's been a month now and i still have not been refunded despite the Shelk customer service contacting them.I dontrecommand!! What a hellish way to be treated! For an error THEY made.

Thus is my local shell station and I have to say it is one of my favourite. The staff are always so friendly and the shop is clean and well presented. It is always stocked to capacity. The costa coffee machine is busy always yet its neat and tidy. Jamie Oliver would be proud of this fine example as am I.
For a long time I’ve been coming here to refuel my car, most of the time are late night.It’s a good place to get petrol, snack or drink.The staff is alway fantastic, always ready to help, not waiting time at the pump compare to other stations (important when is a cold night).A few times if I remember well a guy called Ray served me, a very enthusiastic young person.Every time he’s at work we have a quick friendly chat, a nice guy with a great approach to people,always happy and polite.Great job Ray!Well done Shell!

open 24h, sells the essentials, does its job. THe shop closes its doors at 11pm, but you can still buy stuff from the counter. Really good!Oh, and thereis an Amazon locker, which is really handy!

Disappointed that on Sunday at 9pm you can not use WC here. I wouldn’t bother to look for shell in the area to refuel and use facilities if their opening times would state it instead of just OPEN 24h. Nothing on the shop window, website or google search.

I always use the fill up and go app. It cuts out a lot of time that would of been spent queuing and paying in store otherwise.
