We visited twice in a few days. Our first visit was lovely and we had a couple of glasses of wine with a small cheeseboard. Both were fantastic and to top it off one of the wines was a beautiful English Sparkling wine from Court Garden Vineyard. We then booked in for a tasting masterclass for a couple of days later. This was run by Shany, who was a passionate and knowledgeable host. We tasted through 6 wines for £25 per person which was really good value for money especially for the quality of the wine and the customer service. Definitely one to visit if you havent. Thanks Shany! (I hope I got your name correct!)

We remembered coming here a few years ago and were delighted to find it still here, serving a superb selection of wine with lovely cheeses and meats to accompany it. It’s a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of Brighton for a lovely cold drink in a small, comfortable bar. Great service and a wonderful afternoon.

Went for a cheese and wine tasting session. Very knowledgeable host who was experienced and answered all our questions without hesitation. Delightful choice of wines with delicious cheese to compliment. We had an enjoyable and educational time, thank you. Highly recommended. Had a private wine tasting hosted by Yohan. It was really interesting and tried wines I would not have thought of. We had cheeses paired with the wines which was great and brought the flavours out. I throughly recommend the experience and will looking to visit one of their theme nights in the future.

Food and wine itself was great and mostly friendly servers. Would definitely recommend getting a charcuterie board to accompany if you're in a big group as it's fairly reasonable.Only let down, however, by the sharp service on the phone when I initially booked and the apparent confusion my friend was met with when asking for a recommendation. I feel this is a fairly standard question to ask anywhere but was met with a blank face and received no advice...added a weird tone to an otherwise pleasant evening.

Great little spot for Wine and a Cheese & Charcuterie board, right in the middle of the North Laine, so great for stopping and relaxing for an hour in the afternoon.Rather expensive, but its lovely to have the option of drinking wine in store then buying a bottle or two for taking home, and one expects to pay for this privilege.

A relaxed wine bar with a good selection of rotating wine by the glass and large collection of bottles. Nibbles like olive, cheese and charcuterie are available. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of their wines. It's a decent place for a quick drink! The only downside is the seats aren't very comfortable

Wow - what a fun evening out. Johann has such exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm, making wine accessible and understandable to all. It was fascinating seeing how cheeses had been paired with wines - clearly a lot of thought and rain man knowledge of flavour and depth is involved. Johann is super-friendly and thrives on interactions - no question is too simple or random. We had a fantastic night. Would definitely recommend booking a night out there.
