Order a Kebab and chicken wings and arrived wrong order. Called to ask to send the right one, they did but complained as "I could have tell" the order wasn't right when I got it, as I have super powers to look inside the bags before open it. Ok, thanks ?

Me and my friend got a late night order from this restaurant and were more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Delicious bbq wings and chicken burger which I would recommend to anyone.

Great venue with fantastic decor and atmosphere, very friendly staff are great too! Big Sunday lunch portions which represents good value for money, great to have vegan offerings as well, meaning that everyone in our group had something to choose from! Only negative would be the dry roast potatoes, but could have been that we were on the later lunch sitting at 16:00. Other than this - a great place for a Sunday roast!

Although this is a great pub for a drink and obviously very popular for its Sunday roasts, it didn't quite live up to our expectations. I went for the pork belly roast which was generous in proportion but very greasy. My husband had the fish and chips which he said was pretty tasteless considering we were yards from the sea !Great friendly staff and good atmosphere so would definitley go back and happily drink here.
Saturday night, pub very busy but staff have friendly & helpful service despite pressure. Ordered medium steak; arrived rare (blue in middle); staff quickly fixed when alerted and gave free salad to say sorry. Great beer too. Will visit again.

I really like The Walrus and I thought it’d be great for a friend’s meet up for food last night. I sent an online booking some six weeks ago and two weeks later I called to say I hadn’t heard anything that confirmed it. I was told bookings were being worked through. I then had to email 10days ago to complain that I still hadn’t heard and I finally got an confirmation with apology.Fast forward to last night - we arrive to our table already taken and on speaking to a lovely lady at the bar, was told ‘reserved signs hadn’t been put out’, but the manager soon sorted it for us, but it was quite embarrassing. We ordered food separately, but one after the other with the same person. However, two of six meals arrived some 30minutes late despite being told twice that they were ‘on their way’ (once by a manager), which meant everyone else had finished their food - awkward. I wouldn’t be writing this normally, but those two missing meals were just about luke warm which just added final insult to the situation. By that point we just needed food, so decided it was too much hassle to complain after the other grief too. To be fair it was packed, but if the kitchen are behind it should be communicated before order and food should definitely be hot at least!On the upside, the DJ was sooo good and bar service was pretty quick all considering. I’m just hugely disappointed with the other faff which spoilt the night and needn’t have happened.

Don't get food from here. Incredibly oily even the salad. Only one piece of halloumi in a halloumi wrap and didn't even give salad with the meat kebab even though it is supposed to come in a container. Can't even get hold of them to complain. Complete waste of money.
