Well what can I say, but this was some of the best fun I've had in many months! The entertainment from the staff was incredible with your host performing karaoke! The food was exceptional too, the kleftico was very good. Can't fault it, perfect entertainment for Christmas time. Loved it!

We ate here 3 of the 4 nights while on holiday. Could not fault the service or food served. Friendly staff and great authentic home made Greek food as well as English. Well priced for the amount served, very welcoming and we will be back.

Athens is a traditional Cypriot family run restaurant, serving top quality traditional Greek fare. The food did not disappoint, my lamb chops were succulent and well seasoned, but the star of the show for me were the chips. Beautifully soft inside, like mashed potato but with a lovely crispy case, just like little roast potatoes. Best chips ever! My partner had the Beef Stroganov, which was also delicious. The service was impeccable, and the family made it even more enjoyable by spending time talking with us, and making us feel really welcome & valued customers. Easy to see why Athens is #4 out of 381 restaurants in Eastbourne

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Greek restaurant called Athens. The restaurant is located in the main street behind the pier and it has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they were happy to make recommendations.I ordered the Tbone steak, and it was absolutely amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly, and it was so tender that it melted in my mouth. The flavor was also incredible, and it was perfectly seasoned. I also tried the moussaka, and it was also delicious. The moussaka was creamy and flavorful, and it was a perfect portion size.We also ordered a bottle of wine, and it was a perfect pairing with our meal. The wine was full-bodied and flavorful, and it really enhanced the flavors of the food.Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Athens. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. Just had the most enjoyable evening with owners of this restaurant the food was absolutely fantastic great taste to every dish you made the whole night out of this world for my family who came from America for a birthday celebration you are far better than some top restaurants that I have been to you should be so proud of what you serve it is spot on thanks for the night it made my Mum and Dads trip wonderful that have not stopped talking about it.???

Saw this place in the early part of the day 31/08/23, and thought I'd try it early evening, I was not disappointed, not only were the staff/owners extremely friendly but the food was supurb, a fantastic find and will definitely use again when next in Eastbourne
