Eastbourne Nero has the loveliest atmosphere. Considering they are often short staffed the staff that work there remain friendly and cheerful. In the morning there is a lovely female staff member who never seems flustered even with an impending queue....and the drinks are great x

The worst cafe nero I've visited, the whole place smelt like damp and the coffee was poor. A complete contrast to other cafe neros I've visited, it desperately needs an interior upgrade, the inside is dirty. No wonder other people were just getting their coffee to

Often go here with friends, every time has always been a pleasure. The drinks are always prepared with care and quickness, the sweet treats are very nice and have a great selection.

Recent convert from another coffee shop chain. Nice tea and coffee and cheaper using our Gourmet Club discount. Staff very helpful but interior of this Cafe Nero could do with an upgrade. One of the toilets is still out of order and the corridor/toilet area is very scruffy.

Excellent coffee and tea and the ginger biscuits are delicious. The cafe could do with a bit of a refurb as the interior is rather tired.

No nonsense food, traditional British meals and puddings. Not going to blow your mind but will fill your stomach and not break the bank, good value.

Standard of service has gone downhill rapidly, coffee is bitter, tables not cleared or cleaned, toilets filthy! Hygiene terrible, loosing regular customers and staff, morale very low.Meanwhile prices have gone up yet again!Wheelchair accessibility: Access for wheelchair but entrance very tight and if door is closed, difficult to access, same for buggies/ strollers.

Don't go there for any reason!Incapable of any hospitality service, not committed to quality of service and to customers satisfaction. They deserve to get broke for the way the service is intended and delivered.See the photo attached: I ordered a caramel iced latte and a cake and what we got? Half of a cake slice, two latte and no apologies or excuses or replacement of what was asked for from the shop. It's the second time we use this shop, no way will happen again!

We are a regular customer at the Eastbourne Café Nero. At last, [on Friday 25 Aug 2023] we were happy to be served by 2 extremely pleasant baristas, namely they are Imogen and Dori I must say, they were very professional, unlike the others for the first time greeted saying good afternoon as well as said thank you at the point of service. Let’s hope things will get better by the day at the Café Nero in Eastbourne. F & J

I love my coffee at Nero . I do think that the toilets in Eastbourne need a total upgrade though. Please can this be done soon.

It could be lovely place, if you are lucky to be greated good afternoon, or smiled at you, Person in charge has no experience in hospitality. It's warm day, AC is on full, don't understand the energy costs elements.

Not my usual Caffe Nero experienceA disorganized, loud guy "in charge" of the place was very slow to serve a simple, tasteless black Earl Gray with something resembling a lemon slice.Another employee, moving in slow motion, was supposedly cleaning one area of the place while the rest looked very dirt, clearly unkept. So slow was this woman that I had to help a lady in a wheelchair while she was just staring, puzzled at my action. In the meantime, the loud gay went on with his show, maybe thinking he was amusing somebody, while giving away beverages to visiting maintenance contractorsAgain, not my usual Caffe Nero experience, by far...

There is nothing extraordinary about the products, but they're decent. Staff is always great, I feel bad for how busy they are. Hopefully the company is recognizing their efforts and paying them accordingly.

My Husband and I was staying in Eastbourne and went into the Caffe Nero for a coffee and snack. The building was fine and the food very nice. BUT I do not know where they got the staff from. There were two barista's one serving and the other one was bang crashing the crockery every thing in sight. The tables were full of dirty crockery etc. The closing time was 6pm. we went in there at 4.55pm and the toilets were being cleaned and cones shutting them off. The floors around the tables were being noisily swept and mopped and once again coned off. There was a queue and I personally saw 5 people walk out as they were so very slow serving. When we left we said Thank You (I really don't know what for) and we did not even get a grunt. Guess what from then on we went across the road to Costas where we received a very warm welcome.
