Such a lovely little cafe, with delicious food, cakes and pastries! Me and my partner were enticed by the home made cinnamon swirls and they were fantastic! We highly recommend and will return again!

I was walking past and the Belgium bun enticed me in. This was home baked by the owner and was absolutely moreish, so much so, i had to ask for a take away bag as i couod only eat half of it at the time.I also had a delicious flat white.I would highly recommend this fabulous delicatessen. I will certainly be comeing back.Thank you for a wonderful experience, your passion shines through in your product.

Very unfriendly staff. Not at all accomandating. Ordered food but asked for less puree on the pizza as it does come up with lots of sauce on it. The chef came out saying he will put on how much sauce he wants. Manager didn't want to deal with it. Practically told take our refund & go. Also another time one of the barmen with a ponytail poured in beer slops into my husbands beer he ordered & my husband saw him & told him it was wrong. Maybe that's why we had the problem with the pizza as he recognised my husband & him & the chef were just being petty. Won't be back as the Marine & the Crown & Anchor have better food & customer service.

I love coming to The Duke of Devonshire it’s my favourite pub. The staff are great always happy and welcoming, the atmosphere is lovely, they play the live sports on 7 tv screens AND they are dog friendly
