“We found this place by sheer luck, when other options were exhausted, and frankly I am so glad we were backed into this corner. This is the nicest restaurant I've been to in a while.The staff are accommodating and friendly, the food is outstanding and traditional, the atmosphere was charming. It was fairly cheap and definitely cheerful. The dining rooms are large and we were among the first to be seated so thought it might be quiet, but when we left there was a queue to get in and the room was bustling with conversation and activity.They have their own specially curated vegan menu (not extensive but there are multiple options considering its a non-vegan place, and delicious pizza!! And pudding!), plus other "accidentally vegan" items in the main menu.Dietary restrictions: Curated and delicious vegan menu (traditional - don't expect fake meats) but their cheese is outstanding, Italian made vegan mozzarella !!”

“Great good, nachos with a good layer of toppings. Lamb shank main, in an amazing gravy. The brilliant selection of veggies were let down by limp broccoli which was overcooked. Would that stop me visiting again, not a chance great food, fantastic staff service. Almost five star, almost… 4.6.”

“Gianni’s was recommended by our Uber driver as we were craving pizza. We went by on a November Saturday at about 5pm or so and immediately got a table, but when we left at 7 it got really busy. The vibe was lovely.They have the half and half pizza option. So we each got to eat according to our preference. Service was great.We had the El Diablo and funghi and added chicken to half the pizza, the funghi side for 1 pound. We also had the TAGLIATELLE GAMBERI PICANTE. Quantity of both was sufficient for 3 of us girls.The rose tea was nice too.Loved the experience. Recommended!”

“Let down by another venue. This was a last minute find on google. Looked good online. Exceeded expectations. Anniversary dinner so it had to be a good one. This really was. Food was delicious great value. Very filling. Location was really nice. We have booked a stay at the hotel on the back of this experience. Pauline made the atmosphere relaxed and full of good humour. Could become one of our go to places in Eastbourne. Very allergy aware as well.”

“Went here for breakfast on our first morning in Eastbourne and had to queue, so obviously popular. Not disappointed, sat overlooking the sea and had a really tasty British cooked breakfast. Wife had pancakes and said that they were very good. So went back again the next day and received the same service.”

“This place is huge, beautifully located at the seaside with a spectacular view.Staff is friendly and will be with you at a reasonable time, orders don’t take long to be served, however, I was there for breakfast so it wasn’t busy.The view alone is amazing and I think I’ll be perfect for a date.Breakfast menu isn’t huge, nor different from what you could find elsewhere.The only thing I didn’t like about my order was the bread which wasn’t toasted properly.Otherwise I’d still come back here again.I couldn’t add photos this time as it might be something to do with the app.”
