“What can I say. We were visiting Eastbourne for the day having never been there before and happened across this super cafe/restaurant right by the beach.
Given that it was 1st Oct, we were lucky in that the sun was shining and it was more than warm enough to sit on the deck over looking the beach and the sea.
We didn't mess about. We both ordered the fish and chips and that was definitely the right choice.
Beautifully cooked and tasty the food was a real treat.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
Followed by an excellent cup of coffee, we couldn't have asked for a nicer lunch, in a lovely position.”

“I have just returned home from taking my children for dinner at Pizza Express and I feel the need to share what a fantastic experience it was.

I have 4 year old twin boys, my 5 year old son is Autistic and non speaking and my 15 year old daughter is a typical grumpy teenager. Understandably I don't take them all out together for a meal very often. I am definitely taking them back to Pizza Express though because all 4 children were happy and sat nicely to eat, which is extremely rare.

Our waiter, Callum, was so attentive and understanding of my Autistic son's requirements. He explained to me that he also has a younger brother with Autism which gives him the experience to provide a bespoke and specialist customer service to families who have children with additional needs.

My boys get fidgety after 30 minutes of sitting down which I explained to Callum when we arrived. He made sure our meals came out very quickly and kept popping over to our table to chat with my sons which they loved the attention!

The food was delicious and the portions were so big that we came home with a takeaway box!

It's a great restaurant with amazing staff and good food which I'd definitely recommend to anyone.

“It's been the second time that I visited the place. The food keeps being fantastic, the view is amazing (sea view) but this last time the service was not that great. We wait a lot for getting served (they were not that busy) and it took them 20 minutes to come so we could pay the bill.”
