Sat in muffin break Eastbourne tea was taken for a long trip round the shop so was stewed when arrived. asked for replacement waitress didn't understand but gave her teapot back then she did teapot only half full when returned. Still waiting for food at least 10 minutes after sitting down, customers arriving after me being served and food arriving within 2 minutes. Doesn't take this long for fruit toast and asking now 3 times still no food.20 minutes later finally arrived.

Went to this coffee shop, which I usually do but today had a disrespectful welcome. The Italian girl that works there is just not competent at all. There was a misunderstanding and she was talking about me to her colleague like I wasn't there!! So I left without buying anything. Disgusting behaviour, very offensive. Not recommended anymore.

Just stumbled across this little gem after a stressful morning. What a lovely spot. Lovely cake and coffee. Lovely, helpful and efficient staff. Will be back.

Long wait for staff to acknowlege I was waiting to be served despite 4 staff members behind counter, admittedly they were busy but should still acknowledge that i was waiting especially as no one else in queue. Staff did not smile or make eye contact. Points machine not working. Hot chocolate was good and cafe was clean.

Been here several times and found that the coffee quality is consistent but the muffin quality and taste varies. I compare this to Hastings branch where the muffins ate definitely better. However I have given 5 stars for the hot food and sandwiches which are excellent and value for money. Having the toilet door opening into the middle of the restaurant is not ideal and I question the hygiene.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible from shopping centre concourse. Positioning a problem at busy times though.

The food was amazing, but the lady with the brown hair and glasses talked to a junior employee in a way which disgusted many of us at the queue. If my boss would talk to me in this manner in such a condescending way, I would immediately leave the company.
