Toilets were some of the worst I’ve seen in a restaurant in a long time: overflowing sanitary bins and grime on the floors. The cleanliness of the restaurant seating area and the self-serve counter (for cutlery and sauces) was a poor standard. Areas needed wiping and a more attention to detail and cleanliness was in order. Service was ok but part of our drinks order was forgotten - an easy mistake, no big deal. Then when we spilt a drink there was very little help in clearing it up even though a member of staff delivered food to the table just as it happened. We were left wiping the table with just napkins — nowhere to dispose of them — and with a sticky puddle of cola at our feet. A real shame as we’ve loved other Nando’s that we’ve been to. To top it off, all the responses to the reviews left on Google are pretty much identical. Lo and behold, when the response arrived to my Google review it was the word-for-word bot creation as well. Really poor customer relations, Nando’s. You should be personally asking reviewers for further details and then offering compensation.

Extremely poor, service was slow, restaurant was dirty, chicken was dry with broccoli extremely hard and undercooked. Cutlery was dirty and not enough for family. Toilet facilities were appalling, broken, dirty, unhygienic and certainly not cleaned all day

Noisy. Grubby. Sticky tables. Food on the floor under the table. Dirty windows. Dusty lights over the table. The fizzy drinks station looked very grubby. The bottle of sauce were covered with drips and just grubby…. Our starters arrived and 3 minutes later so did the mains. Our side dishes didn’t arrive at all. The server was clearly concerned about this and after going to and from the kitchen chasing for the side dishes he eventually went to the manager who came over apologised and refunded us the cost of the side dishes. Which was a nice touch but still\\nDisappointing not have have our full order.\\nThe toilets were unpleasant. Could do with regular checks and a good clean of the floor and sinks.\\nBit sad really. Nando’s you can do so much better

Very disappointed that now they do beacon (pork) in the chicken food chain. Very shocking . We have group lunch and about 9 people. Unfortunately we had to leave the restaurant.

I haven't been to nandos for 12 months, the last time was in Central London and it was really good unlike Eastbourne restaurant. The quarter chicken looked more like a pigeon it was so small. It also looked like it had been hangin around a while and been warmed up to serve. Nandos restaurants are usually vibrant busy places, this place sums Eastbourne up, drab with mediocre eating out places. To be fair the staff were spot on.

Food is pretty standard, about what you would expect from Nando’s. I will say the new BBQ marinade is tasty.Turned up and waited to be seated while they cleaned 6 free tables. Waitress sat us next to the only 2 people in the area; so we moved ourselves away.Tables far too close to eachother, you literally can’t get up to go to the bathroom without putting your backside in someone else’s dinner. Similarly, you’re so close to the people next to you that they may as well be sat at the table with you; makes having any kind of conversation pretty uncomfortable as you can be heard by people say either side of you at different tables.No need to sit people this close when you’re turning tables like 3 or 4 times a night.Stop being greedy and give customers a better experience.
