2nd stay at Port Hotel...and remains 5 star. Shame that there us currently no lunch/eve chef especially as the breakfast chef is exceptional...as are the staff, especially Damien the manager (who is secretly Declan)???he welcomed us like old freinds...and recommended an exquisite glass of Alberone...we will be back v.soon, high end design led comfort ...Best in Eastbourne x

We stayed in one of the apartments and the sea view was stunning. Beautifully decorated through out every detail has been carefully curated and thought about. Breakfast was wonderful as were the evening cocktails! The staff are all friendly and very approachable. Nothing is too much trouble and there is always a smile.

This was our first time at this hotel and we love it. The only thing for me that lets it down is having to walk through the restaurant and bar and having to climb three flights of stairs (no lift). The restaurant and bar also houses the reception area where you check in. You are then led through the restaurant to your rooms. There is very little lacking here. There is evidence of much attention paid to detail and the only thing lacking for me was the little thought given to those wearing nail extensions and trying to close the bathroom door lol. (slide door). Everything else has been given meticulous thought to detail. We stayed in the cabin room, no.9. We were told it was on the first floor which is actually the top floor. The room was sooo comfortable and definitely home from home for us. It was very clean (apart from the cleaner forgetting to flush the loo prior to our arrival). Our room had everything you could think of available apart from a shower cap if I’m going to be picky! I’m sure if I had asked one it would have been available. Our room had lots of plug sockets and usb ports, a fan, kettle, nespresso coffee machine, hairdryer. Lots of hangers for clothes, Samsung flat tv screen. In the bathroom I loved the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There was a heated towel rail. Our view from the room wasn’t brilliant as overlooking neighbouring properties. We didn’t have any meals at the hotel however the menu looked scrumptious. All in all we had an enjoyable stay and made to feel welcome. Definitely home from home. Thanks for looking after us.

Stayed for 3 nights with the family It’s a lovely hotel, clean rooms, lovely food and staff very welcoming. Situated right opposite the beach and close to the pier and shops. Would definitely stay again.

From the moment we walked up the front steps we knew this was going to be a good experience. The greeting was warm, friendly and sincere. You felt nothing would be too much trouble. The refurbished no nonsense bedrooms were comfortable and well thought out, with everything, and mire, that you needed. Breakfast was was superb, well presented, imaginative and tasty, and served by smiling people, who again, left you feeling that nothing was too much trouble. Perfectly situated on the seafront with on street parking available. All this for a very reasonable charge. A great experience. Highly recommended

The staff were fantastic - both friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully thought through - everything is the best quality. Beware the breakfast, the chef is stunning, I ordered from the menu and the food was beautifully presented and capable of winning awards - I didn’t eat again the same day!!

Had brunch and coffee here a few times since May for it is literally a 2min walk from my home!! Food is around average but I just love the cozy and delicate decorations indoor so much?

Outstanding option by the sea! Incredibly thoughtful design/comfort, spotless and clean, and staff that are incredibly versed in hospitality and customer service! I’ve been driving the South East coastal area for several days, and so far I’ve not Found anything I’ve like as much at The Port! Highly recommend. This should be a Mr. & Mrs. Smith as it’s an outstanding boutique hotel!

Stunning setting, gorgeous decor and very warm and friendly staff. We cannot wait to come back!! While you're there, recommend the Towner gallery and the beachy head walk to see the white cliffs. Get there via a convenient open top bus that you can hop on and off for only ten pounds. A perfect romantic weekend away and so easy from London.

Friendy staff, quick check-inn. The room was small, but convenient. Bathroom with walk-inn shower. Diner and breakfast at the hotel were excellent. Parking tickets available at reception desk for very good price!

Had a wonderful two-night stay at The Port. The staff were fab - very helpful booking taxis and making restaurant recommendations. The rooms were pristine and comfortable, and the showers were hot and powerful with lovely shampoo and shower gel. Best of all was the food. The breakfast was AMAZING.

We had a very comfortable room with a fantastic sea view. Lovely food at breakfast and would really recommend the dinner, with great cocktails to start. Port feels stylish yet relaxed with very friendly helpful staff.

Had a really enjoyable stay at The Port Hotel. The room was spacious, modern decor, and the bed was really comfortable. The view over the beach was worth the extra money! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were tasty and there was a good range of choices. We didn’t have an evening meal there, but the cocktails are great! Lots of stairs, so not suitable for people with mobility issues.
