Me and my partner came here for a late dinner, it was a nice little restaurant. We both had fish and chips, the fish was lovely and the chops were also nice. Had to ask for lemons for the fish but it wasn't an issue. I would recommend.

Visited here again as we have done every few months for years now, and the quality never drops! We were served by the owner this evening. She took the restaurant over from her parents, and she really does them proud….. She never stops, she works so tirelessly, and it’s down to her that this place is such a success, and is always on point every single time we come here. The food is delicious, we can never find fault with it! It comes out promptly, service with a smile is on tap, and nothing is too much trouble! The restaurant is clean and hygienic, as are the toilets. I love the Eastbourne canvas artwork on the walls, it shows such a love for the town and local area, and it’s just a nice friendly space to relax and unwind in. If you only ever visit one fish restaurant in Eastbourne, make sure you come here, you won’t be disappointed, we never have been!

I went there with my mum for her birthday to have some dinner there. We both had battered large cod and chips together. Mine was tasty when I ate it. My best bit of the fish and chips was the battered large cod.

Speedy service, friendly staff, reasonable prices. My cod and chips (cooked to order) were cooked to perfection and the home made onion rings were so delicious. Not very busy when I visited mid afternoon, so it was nice and peaceful.Dietary restrictions: Not sure what options are available, but when I placed my order, the waiter asked if I had any allergies. As I don't, no further information was required.

Skate and Chips with Mushy Peas. A nice freshly cooked piece of Skate. Generous portions. Other Fish available. A darker batter but very tasty. Not burnt and served hot. A clean Restaurant and good Table Service. Wait To Be Seated.

1 star is too much for the waitress.We got to the restaurant not a minute later than 8pm, as at 8:15 we were already waiting for food at clay oven.We got in politely and was about to ask if they were still opened, when the lady turned to us and said “FOR F SAKE”.Did not say the f word, just the letter, but excuse me?First of all, there’s was no clear signage saying it was close or even the opening hours. On Google says they are opened until 8:30.And second, she could have said “sorry, we just closed” or there’s the take away option. Or quite literally anything else and we would have been fine.She looked at the chef, I presume, and said “it’s up to you” ignoring us completely.The chef did make a sign that it was okay, but I felt awful. And told the boys to go.To the lady tonight. We did not enter your living room uninvited, to sit at your table, we entered a restaurant, where the light were on and the door was opened, merely to ask if you’re still serving. And please and thank you really do take you far in life!The food might be delicious, but if you don’t want to feel embarrassed on your night out, I would avoid the restaurant around 8pm.

Wow...probably the best Fish & Chips we had in this area. A super friendly place and very accommodating. The food was amazing and the staff really gave us a warm welcome. We actually came back several time during our trip, and would definitely be coming back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend you sit down and enjoy a meal here. Also, don't forget the Gerkins which are out of shot here! A***************
Brilliant fish and chip restaurant with a wide selection of types of fishCrispy batter freshly cooked and red hot temperature ! Alternatives available if you don't like fish. Immaculately clean cutlery and table clothes. Friendly service. Well worth the money - you can get a good wholesome meal and soft drink in pleasant surroundings for the cost of a burger !Parking: Very few on street parking slots and which are quite expensive given it is off season. There may be other parking available but it wasn't widely advertised and none close to the restaurant

Nice large space, good service, great to have options as a gluten free dinner. Battered fish takes 25/30mins from order which sounded like they start a fresh oil pan. I chose grilled haddock with jacket potato which may not sound like traditional fish & chips but it was delicious & allowed my father to have traditional battered skate & chips. Good choice of drinks particularly the range of cider which waiter offered a sample.

Having seen this place on Trip Advisor, I stumbled across it and decided to pop in for my dinner. I had a medium cod and chips. Which was all nice. Just pricey £15 for cod, chips and a coke. But that seems to be the average price these days! Crazy isn’t it?!?

Fish and chips were all good size and tasty but you have to pay extra if you are gluten free! Can’t help it if need to eat gluten free and it felt a little discriminative. Bit cramped in restaurant so disabled access a little tricky however the waitress was lovely and helpful.
