However it is shocking that on 23rd August 2025, Southern Head is still selling Israeli samphire - despite also having an alternative source of samphire (France). Shocking really given that Israel needs trade in order to fund what is happening in Gaza”

“First time tonight we've used this fish and chip shop as our local is closed. We both agreed that it's definitely better. The chips, half chicken and haddock were superb. Generous portions too.”

Seafood • “Nice Ambience, great service. But the food was ok and not really worth the price. Especially the burger sounded good but was pretty bland and the fancy mayo and onions can’t justify the price. Also the chips could use a little more seasoning.”

“Great fish and chips. Friendly, well cooked, decent portions, allowed fish to drain off to remove excess cooking oil before being handed over. I'd definitely go here again.
We got our fish and chips here and went and sat on the beach to eat it. Perfect!”
