Food a little pricey for what it is,service a bit hit and miss, depends what staff are in, disappointed the fire is seldom lit even on cold days,Vegetarian options: Not a lot of choice for veggies,Mac and cheese, pizza or veggie skewers.

Lovely roast, lovely day. Gentleman seating us was doing an amazing job dealing with the queue. Jan served us and nothing was too much, very helpful.

Jan was the most friendly of waitresses. Food was delightful and beautiful views. A wonderful Easter

Lovely place and views, nice friendly staff and helpful... Food was nice, however we waited one hour to be served, we cancelled desert order as it took too long. Hopefully it can improve as we'd love to come back.

Slow service, cold mains and plenty of cobwebs!

We visited the pub for dinner late on Good Friday. The food was rate late, but tasty and our server, Hailie, was helpful and pleasantly chatty. Whilst it was night-time, we know that the pub is superbly placed for great views of the rolling countryside and is 200m from the cliff-top sea views.

Great views. The food was good, but we waited around 45 minutes to be served our meals. The waitress, Lilly, was lovely, though? It was a busy day & I felt they needed more staff for the number of customers.

Had a wonderful late lunch/early dinner. The weather was horrid and the view was nonexistent but as soon as we walked in they had a fire going and the staff were welcoming and we had the loveliest meal. Definitely will come back next time, hopefully with the view as a cherry on top.

I know it was busy but we waited an hour in between courses. The food was fine , 3 roasts with no complaints, the fish meal came out cold, the waitress asked if we wanted another and as we’d waited an hour and so hungry we ate it. The waitress took 2 of our drinks of the bill. The wait for pudding as long as the main, we all liked the food we ate. Just the wait was a lotVegetarian options: Veg wellington was good

We had a delightful light lunch today of soup and chicken liver parfait. Thanks to Lilly who really looked after us very well.

It's a good pub that hits the spot. The service was great. We had two large dogs with us, and the staff were not concerned and were very attentive, which really makes you feel more at ease when you bring dogs with you. The food was lovely, but there can be lapses with the availability for the roast meats. Do you could run out of beef then 15 minutes later its back on the menu for example. The location is Fantastic but once its night you need to have a car or cab take you home as its very isolated. The views on a clear day are wonderful

Great pub! Amazing views !We have decided to celebrate another family birthday in the restaurant. There were 7 of us so the food took a bit longer to arrive as expected with such a bit party but Lilly our waitress kept us topped up with drinks throughout. Amazing food and service :)
