We had a delicious and memorable Valentines meal here last night. The food was faultless, quality wine. Pianist was a wonderful touch. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

£89 for Boxing Day Luncheon..It was a rip-offBland cauliflower soup, reheated roast potatoes, beef curling at the edge, cardboard tasting Yorkshire pudding,no cranberry sauce..unbelievable The environment is splendid,we stayed in October but dined at the Brasserie sadly we will not return

The food was good for the most part. Octopus starter wad lovely. Pork roast was extremely dry and we were certain the potatoes had either been reheated or (shiver!) frozen! Desert was ok. Cheese plate was lacking freshness. Service was appalling. Incredibly slow and even though we were the first table to enter the restaurant, we were the last to leave as there had been such a long gap between course. All staff looked miserable and we felt like an absolute inconvenience. We had to ask for our bill to be corrected twice for random items that had been added when we hadn’t ordered them. £4.50 for a small glass of Diet Coke is also extortionate. Overall, it was an average experience with a painful price tag. We would not return.

We paid £89 each for Boxing Day Luncheon,,it promised to be top notch..what a disappointment. The soup(cauliflower was off white, bland,no sprinkling of chives etc(,beef was curling at edges, roast potatoes reheated, yorkshire pudding cardboard tasting,no cranberry sauce,What a joke when they presented main under silver dome,,as if it was 5 star,,this is a 4 star establishment? You joke...we stayed at thechotel in October but dined in the Brasserie, but even there chocolate tart was inedible

Restaurant located on the ground floor of the Ashdown Park hotel. Old style huge dining room. Restaurant had allocated a good table ti reflect an older guest in our party. Food was all very good, Chateaubriand was excellent. Wine list was extensive and excellent. Like the rest of the hotel the service was slow and chaotic throughout. Again the staff themselves were good, just not well organised/managed. Still overall an enjoyable dining experience in a great setting.

Absolutely fantastic food in a great location. The service was also great and personalised. A huge thank you to our waiter Bobby and the team.

We have visited Anderida for a number of years and cannot fault the atmosphere, food or service. We last visited for my partners birthday and it was amazing! The service was impeccable with no request being too much of an ask.The food was beautifully prepared and presented. All I can say is if you want a memorable experience then look no further ?

Perfect table linen and sparkling glasses. Friendly and very efficient service. Delicious food - fresh crab, home-made soup, wild duck with an oriental feel. Puddings good too. Excellent choice of wines.

There are some negative reviews which as a retired international chef I found unwarranted. Superb food and service. Prices are not for the feint hearted but you know that before you arrive, it’s five star with two rosettes so you would go for that very special occasion. We stayed for two nights and loved it.

Although very much a hotel restaurant the food is well prepared and quite tasty. Excellent selection of English wines and friendly service.

The worst meal I have ever eaten. £240 for four of us on the 8 course taster menu plus a £40 bottle of wine and some fizzy water. Food was awful. Service was awful. The Maitre D' had no idea of the menu. The meal stopped before all the courses were served. I can only surmise that the chef had either died or was dying of shame. I won't be going to any more restaurants with an AA Rosette.

Really disappointing. One underwhelming course after the other. A slab of cold goats cheese followed by over cooked linguine with no pesto (as advertised) and a selection of bland cheeses on dry biscuits (the grapes were the highlight of this course). I expected fine dining but the most enjoyable thing about it was the olive bread and butter. The piano playing was very nice. The quality and execution of the food does not tally with the high prices. What a shame.

The food was supposedly “award-winning gourmet cuisine” . We were extremely disappointed. The menu was very limited and apart from the soup and fish was the same each evening. The food itself was very disappointing even thought the chef had been very innovative in cooking the “cheaper” ingredients into a tower of well-cooked but a bizarre main course. The result was an unpleasant costly experience bordering on being inedible. The hotel has responded by saying that they now have a new Executive Chef. Sadly this was too late to save our experience and stay with them. An offer of an upgrade should we visit again is inadequate in these circumstances
