Pleasant pub, nice food drinks and people. Worth stopping by this watering hole if near by.

Lovely setting with amazing views out over the countryside. The staff were very friendly, a lovely welcome, and attentive service throughout. The Roast lunches were very good, probably amongst the best I've had, lots of meat, and well cooked vegetables and Yorkshires. Will definitely return

First visit ,the welcome received f from staff was very good quickly showing us to our table and instantly providing a cold Bootle of water. Once we ordered both drinks and food delivered quickly. The presentation and quality of food excellent. Will certainly visit again.

This pub has changed dramatically since it first opened after refurbishment .. it certainly isn't as nice in all ways now . .. on the positive side the staff are very attentive but the whole place needs a good clean especially the carpet in the restaurant .. our meal was ok but not the best .. really sorry we won't be visiting again as the view and garden are amazing.

A meal with a view! Staff were excellent. really friendly and prompt with service. Fantastic terrace with a view right across to the sea! A glass of wine at sunset an absolute must.

Superb Sunday lunch. Very well presented. Some unusual/different starters which made a change from the standard offerings at most pubs/restaurants these days. Very helpful and attentive staff. Difficult to find a pub with a better view! Will definitely return.

Four of us had an exceptionally good and delicious meal of two courses each. There is a great selection of drinks and attentive staff. The only negative aspect was the level of noise, made worse by the high level of background music forcing everyone in the restaurant to raise their voices, making it noisier, etc. For older people with hearing difficulties it can be off-putting. As an experienced audio engineer, my recommendation (counterintuitively) is to install more loudspeakers, operate them at a greatly reduced level, and don't turn up the bass tone control of the amplifier very much. This will result in an even coverage throughout the dining area and a much more pleasing ambience.

Needed somewhere for lunch and found this on the internet. Absolutely loved the decor and location. The menu was varied and the food delicious and well presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall we had a fantastic meal and will definitely return. Thoroughly recommended.

Food is always excellent. Local produce, in season and cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and helpful. The views over to the downs and the sea are quite spectacular.

Lovely lunch, service friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Lovely view, great service but food was not up to scratch; dry and small hamburgers, undercooked pork, tough steak. Went on a Sunday when they did the asado. Will not go back. There are a lot of better pubs and restaurants in the area.

It is very much a meat eater restaurant, the vegetarian options are very limited and were lacking flavour but apparently the steak was perfect. Service was absolutely brilliant cannot fault and the views / ambience was wonderful shame about the veggie options especially when you are paying £17 to be slightly disappointed. I would recommend to any of my carnivore friends and would return for just a drink myself. Thank you

Our third visit to the White Hart and the best yet. Very attentive staff and a step up in quality of the food.
