Ordered a delivery at 18 30 turned up 19.50 with only half of order. called several times eventually got through and explained to the person to the other end he said I'll send it out with next driver will be there in 15 minutes .?? Guess what never turned up. Called again and again eventually they answered and were so rude food arrived and was so disgusting it went straight in bin .Will never order anything from them again. Rude people and don't give a toss about their customers just want the money.

Don’t bother with this place the food is awful now waited nearly 3 hours for my for food management didn’t even bother saying sorry just kept me waiting saying it will be 10 minutes but made us wait that long then cold when turned up tried to ring but try ring them back on a Saturday was impossible so chucked it in bin and had a cheese sandwich witch was a lot better than the food I got

Fish is nice, chips are average but you do get a large portion. Staff not friendly but good for a quick dinner take away.

I’ve used this place for 13yrs,loved the staff,always friendly and knew me by name and face when entering,food was always the best.always gave the drivers a Xmas bonus….suddenly the place has changed management,poor James doesn’t realise he’s set himself up to fail now! The new manager is rude and arrogant,the “supervisor” who I found out was called Rachel,told me when I rang 2hrs after ordering that she “couldn’t see through walls” when I asked will it be here shortly! It arrived,rude drivers,cold food which was burnt and the doner meat tasted cheaper than tinned dog food,it’s been getting worse for at least a month now and I sadly won’t be back,surprisingly I ordered from along the road and all the best drivers from “the best” are now there and apparently were all pushed out for the cheaper new managers staff,I’ll be going to them from now on

Service and waiting time was great. Ordered balti tikka paneer which had a lovely flavour but no substance other than paneer and sauce and 1/2 a tomato. Came with a nan bread but at just short of £12 (previously £9) sadly wasnt worth the money!\\nHaving said that wouldn't stop me from ordering again.

Five star food rating and excellent service and food. Pride themselves on quality and diversity.\\n\\nI saw the name of shop and thought that's a very bold statement.......but once you've had there fish and chips you'll agree with them.\\n\\nOwner really nice and very accommodating, will even allow you other side of counter to see for yourself how clean it is.\\n\\nVery very impressed, the likes of Macdonald's could take a leaf out of there book and should see for themselves how it should be done.\\n\\nTry \\\"The Best Fish and Chips\\\" for the BEST fish and chips, you won't be disappointed, Harry Ramadan eat your heart out!

Chicken souvlaki box is amazing it's like being back in Greece again!\\nLove the fact they have 6 kitchens, a choice for everyone and all the other food tasted great (Indian \\u0026 kebabs) ??

I haven’t had a kebab for about 3 years so after a few beers my wife and I decided to give this place a go . We have been here before but I think it’s changed ownership and definitely not for the better. We both opted for the medium donor and after a chore in ordering them with the guy with the very broken English behind the counter we waited for our food . Looking round the place seemed very over staffed with about 12-14 staff behind the counter getting under each other’s feet , one staff member was even picking and eating at the food which even without covid this is a hygiene practice no one should be doing . Two minutes later I heard “do you want salad “which we replied “yes please “ . Another minute later we are walking home which is about 3 minutes from the shop . We unwrapped our food and I thought where the lettuce because all I could see was red and white cabbage which to my disgust it turned out to be pickled, this must be to save money on fresh produce as it keeps longer . Then I tried the meat and considering I only left the shop 3 minutes earlier it was stone cold and was covered In hardened white fat like lard . At £8 each for a medium donor it’s not cheap either and even more expensive when you scrape it in the bin and make something else for dinner. As you can already conclude I will not be recommending and definitely won’t be returning.

Used to be amazing, what's happened? Everything used to be fantastic, tonight had large doner, pitta looked like had been torn in half and put in box, meat was good, small amount of salad with very vinegary red stuff, mostly onion not cabbage which flavoured everything else even when removed. Mayo was either watered down or v cheap. However chili sauce perfect as usual.

Absolutely shocking service. Used once before and enjoyed it. This time, ordered through their website at 18.05. Waited for over an hour. Phoned restaurant at 19.25 and was told that the order will be leaving in a few minutes as it was busy!!! 1hr20mins and it hasn't even left!! Waited another 35 mins. Then I called again at 20.02 to be told that it is just leaving now. 2 hours for it to leave the restaurant!!! Obviously I was lied to on the first phone call. It eventually arrived at 20.15. A small apology to say sorry for the delay. Food was luke warm and mediocre. Supposed to be halloumi in our soulvaki. That was missing. I wish I'd asked for a refund. Would never, ever use this place again and would not recommend anyone to use them.

Wanted a quick bite to eat after working in brighton. Then having to drive back to newhaven and then back to Brighton for covid booster, I didn't want to cook. Thought we'd have an uncle sams in brighton but decided to grab a takeaway on the way home. NEVER AGAIN, my fried chicken was dubious. It didn't seem as if it was cooked all the way through. Like warm in the middle. The coleslaw tasted odd, I wasn't sure if it was supposed to taste as it did but I wasn't taking the risk and binned it. Even my cat turned its nose up at the chicken. In fact I do remember using this establishment once before but that's when it was just a fish and chip shop. We said then we'd never go back but we were hungry and tired and everyone deserves a second chance. My husbands burger bun was so soggy he chucked it out for the fox (poor fox). Anyway that's unheard off for my husband to chuck food away if he's starving, he'll keep munching away. His must have been really bad. I don't normally write reviews but I'm sick off paying for crap takeaways and particularly the cost when it's inedible. Stick to one cuisine and produce quality food. By the way, you could all do with smartening up with wearing uniform, hair nets, gloves when handling food (especially with covid). Oh and a welcoming smile perhaps to your customers.
