Beautiful old pub, with lots of dining space. Outdoor area would be lovely on a warmer day.Service was excellent, Kate looked after our table, friendly atmosphere and food delicious.We enjoyed our mains, sea bass with prawns and a huge turkey and prosciutto pie.Dessert was lovely, a Chocolate Bomb surprise.

The staff were friendly and polite. The food was plentiful, tasty and hot.Parking: The parking is at the back of the inn and has a large area for parking. Although the inn was full, there were still spaces.

We had a horrible time really. It was cold and no fire lit and the food truly shocking. Probably the worst Roast I’ve ever had and the Virgin Mary was less than average. They are not cheap here either, but sadly the food was very cheap. I don’t think there is a chef in the kitchen but staff simply putting vacuum packs or containers into the microwave. Very disappointing.

Nice environment, staff are friendly. Food is very nice and there is a good choice. Especially with the starters. I have had gastric surgery and so cannot eat large meals. Even small plates are too big but the starter was great. More choice than most

Wow what can I say, for the first time ever we decided to have our Xmas day lunch out and decided on the lamb, we were either going to love it or hate it, it was amazing from start to finish. Food was delicious, service was friendly and not rushed. The atmosphere was just lovely and we could even bring our furry friend Stanley. Would definitely do this again. Thank you for making my Christmas stress free.

Lovely traditional pub, staff very friendly and welcoming. Great selection of food and good options for vegetarians and vegans. The food was great quality and reasonably priced. This pub is also dog friendly which is great. Would definitely recommend.
