Worst Indian restaurant i ever ate in.. please dont waste your money here.. i ordered samosa (they fried readymade rumali roti samosa and gave), aloo chaat (they gave tasteless spiceless aloo sabzi over a poori, when complained, staff said he wasn't aware of what is aloo chaat), lamb tikka biryani (they gave fried rice, non spicy, undercooked hard dry meat), sag paneer (without any much paneer pieces), peshawari roti (this was okay)... We wasted 35 pounds here... Even the bill was hand written one... Not sure if they pay proper taxes...

First of all, they don’t have chai. I was simply surprised by the fact that Indian restaurants that don’t have chai exist.I ordered fish masala. We were the only customers when we arrived, but it took nearly 30 minutes to get the food. It was way too sweet, let alone not spicy at all.I wonder if local people like this sweet curry given the rate they got. Those who know authentic Indian cuisine will be disappointed. The staff were very nice though.

Horrible restaurant. No value for money and taste is also bad. With the name of India and hardly any respect for Indians. Really disappointed with the food. The prices are high and quantity /quality is negative!

Food taste not how it should. No flavour and no taste. Bland!! Ask for vegetables, it was mash. Lamb looked like pieces and tough as old boots. Ask for refund, forget it. Have to call health inspector to check

Turning back the clock, last month ordered a takeaway for collection. Arrived to collect, glad I checked before leaving, it was the wrong bag. 3 weeks ago ordered a delivery, they tried to charge more, it wasn't until I explained twice that their menu advertised free delivery if spending over £25 so they shouldn't be trying to overcharge. But tonight, phoned at 1815, told it will be delivered in 45 minutes. 75 minutes later I phone them asking about my delivery,. kept being asked what delivery and having to explain several times the same thing. Eventually I am told it will be seconds as the driver has left a few minutes ago. It is only a 4-5 minute drive. 10 minutes later, telephone call from driver he's at the wrong address, other side of town. 10 minutes later my food arrives. Warm, taste not as good as before, not impressed ?. I think next time I want a curry, their rival will be used.

Always a lovely curry, ate here with party of 10 from work, and everyone had a different dish which all came out correctly and warm.

I have been there just once, but it was enough to make me realize there is something special about the "Moon of India".People working here are especially friendly and kind. You can find there vibes that are normally limited to family contexts, which is particularly enjoyable, as a customer. The food i have had the pleasure to taste was so flavorous, so tasty, so colorful... I just coulnt stop eating.I wish everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy a meal in this very special place at least once in their lives.

I honestly don’t know how this place has good reviews, probably the worst curry I’ve eaten…firstly we ordered 3 curries and 3 rice and they only sent two curries with 3 rice and the food turned up cold & chewy , horrible taste , we will not be ordering here again!

We had food delivered from here on Saturday and I was very impressed. The dishes ranged from good to excellent. The service was exceptionally good and the guy I spoke to on the phone was welcoming courteous and friendly. None of that would have mattered if the food was disappointing but it wasn't. Enjoyed it thoroughly and I'm going to use it it as my go-to now. This was the last of the the well rated Indian restaurants in the area that I've tried. Moved into the area two years ago and have slowly worked through all of the Indian restaurants in Newhaven and Seaford. This one is joint best for food quality and definitely the best for service by a mile. Thanks guys

Naan bread missing, Poppadoms overcooked, curry tasteless and all for £16.55 Never again! I've had one takeaway from here before and it was terrible then but have heard so many rave reviews I thought maybe it was a one off bad day for them. Obviously NOT Terrible

This is another one of those places that we've driven past on numerous occasions, and last Saturday (New Years Day) we took the plunge and popped in for a cheeky little New Years Day treat, and what a treat it was. We've been struggling to find a local Indian eatery since our favourite one closed it's eat in facility at the start of Covid, and it looks like we may have struck lucky. Given that it was a Saturday evening, it was very very quiet, but then it was New Years night. I can imagine that this place is generally bustling. The hosts were very friendly and chatty, and welcomed us with welcome arms, and made an effort to chat with us at the end of the evening. A nice touch. The food was delicious, served very swiftly, and tasted freshly prepared. Presentation was good and portions were very generous. The decor was clean, not flashy, with the bathrooms very clean too, which is always a good sign. Why not five stars?? Well, it could have been a bit warmer to be honest. I think someone forgot to turn the heating on! Our recommended dish? The Chillis Stir Fry starters

A very pleasant experience. Being the closest table to the entrance door and protected only by a decorative screen was not great as when the door opened, we were hit by a blast of cold air.The food was very good and the service friendly and pleasant.I'm a bit out of touch with prices but I would think they are mid range. The decor was plain but clean, wouldn't think it the place for a romantic evening but we left satisfied, overall a pleasant experience.
