We had lunch here. Unfortunately the chef had quit the day before so service was slow. The waitor who served us was brilliant. He apologised and explained the situation. The food was okay. The children's were happy with their food.

Came here a few weeks ago and all I can say is terrible service, terrible food and terrible managers who clearly have no idea what they are doing! So blatantly rude shouting at customers! Don’t waste your money!! Very unprofessional.

Was drawn in by a sign outside that boasted the largest beer garden in Rottingdean - I have no way to verify this claim but I can assure you the venue is beautiful. The smiley chap behind the bar told me he was one of the new managers, and I believed him because of the incredible shirt he was wearing. The atmosphere was delightful in the summer and I look forward to coming back in the winter.

Great venue, very traditional feel about the place, visited because of the record fair today, a good place to go to in the middle of Brighton

Love the owners of this place and the new managers are great! The pub is full of locals and it’s like a family feeling! They make newcomers feel so welcome. The Mauritian owners Wednesday Curry Nights are next level! She makes different Homemade curries every week - a choice between 2 meat curries, a fish curry or vegetable curry!Absolutely banging! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The weekly menu also changes and the homemade food cannot be faulted.Come here at least twice a week.

Lovely little pub in rottingdean. Staff are great and helpful. But if you are tall take a helmet.

We had roast for 4 people on Sunday 30th October, although services was what you would expect, I personally was disappointed with the quality of the food, I had a mixed roast of pork and lamb. The meat was cut at about 2mm and both meats tasted the same, you couldn’t tell the difference between the lamb or pork. Was expensive for what was served. Not somewhere I would recommend to friends and family, there are better places in Rottingdean to eat.

A beautiful intimate little pub with an enormous beautifully kept beer garden to the rear. Staff were great and the regulars incredibly friendly. 10/10
