Nice cosy pub, I ordered the ribs which were huge and good value for money. I had the cookie dough & salted caramel bar for dessert which was very tasty!

Eaten here twice in the last 3 weeks but never again. Grilled seabass sounded lovely but was a huge disappointment which started with its appearance on the plate, dry and curled up at the end, barely cooked potatoes and luke warm sauce. Today I had the katsu curry which tasted like some boil in the bag meal which was awful. The fish and chips was apparently not bad though.

Attend an event and the staff were brilliant. Attentive and friendly. Food was on point. Most buffets wud pile on the food which end up getting dry but they sent out food in decent portions and were so attentive, the never ran out of food.

Had a couple of Cocktails and some lite bites. Cocktails didn't seem correctly measured, Food was bought out and plonked on table no mention that cutlery and condiments were inside or where inside. It's a shame as it has so much potential.

The White Hart were excellent from the moment we discussed having a wake there all the way through to the last person leaving said wake. First off they were relaxed about not having definite numbers for the food and were happy to 'do a few extra bits if need be'. Or for us to just call them any time to add extra numbers. As it turned out their buffet's are very generous and we didn't need any extra!! There were three options to choose from and all of them had a good variety of foods. We had more than enough choice of sandwiches, lots of different hot food, chips and salad followed by mini victoria sponges (which went very quickly....). There was tea and coffee ready for people to help themselves to and we didn't have to wait long for drinks etc either. The area that was roped off was a good size for our party and it felt like we had our own private little area. I thought it was reasonably priced for the amount we had (food and drinks) and the time we spent there. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to hire an area for something like this.

Popped in for a drink and something to eat. Sat in the garden. Was really nice hubby had the ultimate burger which hit the spot and I had the chicken bacon and avacado salad with Pomegranite dressing was really nice ❤️❤️

Good pub food, very good service and attentive staff. A pub lunch in a relaxed environment. Good car parking make sure you enter your car registration when entering the pub. Outdoor seating, weather permitting.

Who would have thought it, the local pub car park is controlled by Euro Car parks! I do not usually drive to the pub but my wife offered to drive. We went for drinks for a friends birthday. You can imagine the scene, we got out of the car, saw some friends, started chatting and walked straight into the pub without noticing the signs. Not for one minute would I expect to "clock in & out of the pub like I was at work!" None of the staff bothered to mention the car park rules. We only found out about the £85 fine 3 weeks later when it arrived in the post (expensive 2 hour drink). Don't for one minute think that because your the only pub in the village that this is acceptable. If this is how you run your business we are happy to drink elsewhere!
