Do you know, I lost faith in this restaurant a couple of years ago after good service over many years. I have since tried again and not 1 delivered meal has been right. Tonight is the last straw, wrong again, waited 1 hour 30 minutes to sit down to a very oily, tasteless dish. Sorry, no more!! :(

Ordered a takeaway this week at 16.45,phoned 3 times to be told it was on its way but by 18.00 still no meal, cancelled, apparently short of delivery drivers.I then ordered from Howard's fish shop ,the meal arrived within 20 minutes minus curry sauce, phoned them, they delivered the sauce straight away, good service.

I’ve been coming to wheelers for years now, they never fail to amaze me. 100% worth a visit. Friendly staff and great food consistently.

I have been to many Indian restaurants before however wheelers is the best of the bunch. Really friendly staff, excellent service and really good food! Will definitely be using wheelers regularly from now on??

Limited menu. Tired decor, carpet old. Staff ok. Food was good though.

Came in to have dinner this evening. Waited 35 minutes to be given a menu by a rude waiter whose behaviour made us very uncomfortable and then turned confrontational when we asked to settle our drinks bill and leave. The only comfort was the next table commiserating with us as we left. I cannot recommend enough that you avoid this place.

Spent nearly £60. On a takeaway last night and was very disappointed. The shatkora was tasteless and the balti was mediocre . It was for our sons birthday, this place has gone down hill. Don’t think we will use them again.?

Absolutely disgraceful service. Order took almost an hour to be ready, and food was completely lacking in salt. When this was pointed out, we didn’t even receive an apology, we were just met with confused looks and cold service. The waiter was an absolute waste of space and was just hovering around doing nothing. The toilets had no toilet paper. Water was supposed to be £1.50, but after suspicious whispers we were charged £2 instead. And the food prices were all whopping for such poor and dodgy service. I 100% recommend you to avoid this place.

If you want an amazing, delicious but still cheap full meal it's your best choice. If you want elegance and posh ambience it isn't.We visited this place several times, food is always brilliant, the interior and service feels like visiting a family. On one occasion the chef personally served while wearing his kitchen apparel. Absence of any formality but serving was very professional and friendly. When on the way home from Southend it's always a halt for us.

Absolutely love this place! Every dish I’ve ever had from there has its own flavour not just one flavour across the board! The Buffett was excellent selection and flavours when I took my wife, mum and kids for a Mother’s Day meal. I would highly recommend this place, there are some reviews that aren’t that great about this place BUT they obviously have dead taste buds. If your passing give it a try I don’t think you will be disappointed at all. They are very welcoming, attentive and professional. Food is always hot. Plenty of parking, restaurant isn’t massive but I like the smaller and more cosy ones. Maybe could do with a bit of an update in there but other than that they even have a decking area out the front that’s under cover for a drink or a smoke ?

Ordered a takeaway from here when our usual local closed down and very pleased. Have since become a regular and always impressed. Great food reasonably priced and excellent service. Highly recommend!

After recommendation we decided to order from Wheelers for collection takeaway. I wouldn’t bother again. Food luke warm, not very tasty and chicken in both main dishes was tough.

Having lived in the area for 5 years I have always driven past Wheelers as it just doesn’t look like you would want to go in there, it looks shabby with a huge car park with never more than a couple of cars in it even on a weekend when it should be busy. But after a recommendation from a friend who said it’s not very nice inside I wouldn’t go there for a meal but takeaway is good. We had chicken tar curry, curry? It was totally tasteless! My wife had chicken tikka masala which was just warm also lacking flavour, onion bhajees, looked like they had been trod on, Naan bread was doughy, rice was ok though Utter waste of 30 quid, thought we would try to rekindle our taste for Indian after giving up on it as there doesn’t seem to be a good takeaway around Benfleet . We shall be sticking to our good choice of Italian restaurants from now on. Would definitely not recommend this place, you would think with the amount of competition around and the fact restaurants are closed now, these places would be trying to win over a few more regular customers wouldn’t you!
