We had a lovely Sunday roast recommended by a friend and it really lived up to our expectations. The staff were really friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the atmosphere too! The food was so so good, we had the beef Sunday roast! The portion sizes are huge which we loved. Definitely will be coming back for more.

Recently moved here with my fiancé and have been here twice - once on our own and another time with my brother + dad. Great place to get some food and a drink - atmosphere indoors and outdoors is great also. I checked online and saw that they'll have some vegan / non-dairy options. Cannot wait!

I wasn’t even a guest there(my hotel was a ways down the road and it was super late), but they helped me call a cab and gave me a refill (of tea) on the house. The staff were all very sweet and understanding.

Lovely place! Great food. Stumbled across this lovely place as we stayed at a hotel the day before flying on holiday. Tapas plates are lush. Beer selection is awesome! Made flying from Stansted better!

We popped in here for a lunchtime bite to eat on Saturday. We had not planned going for lunch so just arrived with no booking. The staff were very helpful and found us a table. We were advised that they had just had a table of eleven in so obviously there may be a slight wait for food. This was not a problem but the waitress did her best and managed to sort our order first which was really good of her . We all had the Brisket Ciabatta which came with fries or sweet potato. This was delicious and a generous portion. It was only £11.95 which I thought was great value for money. The pub was clean and as I said all of the staff were helpful and friendly. We will be going back to try the evening restaurant menu .

The Crown Inn is a little village gem, just had the most amazing Sunday roast, plenty of vegetables and the cauliflower cheese it was the tastiest I have ever had. The chef who is also the landlord came out to talk to everyone to make sure everyone was happy. Very warm atmosphere and nicely decorated for Christmas. Will certainly be returning.

Such a lovely welcoming pub. I went for a drink with a friend. The landlord Mick was so hospitable and the wine was gorgeous. Can’t wait to go back for a meal. The lunch and evening menus look fabulous.
