This place is great for a coffee or breakfast. We've been here many times. Look put for the oreo milkshake! Both the normal breakfast and vegetarian were lovely and cooked well. Quite a lot of families turn up with new parents. A nice environment

My gripe was the fumes from the kitchen extractor being pumped right into the garden seating area. Food was good and staff welcoming. Originally visited because of their ethos regarding quality ingredients. Tried it a second time in good faith.

Great first visit, food was all served fresh and still hot when it reached our table. Amazing choice on the menu with fresh ingredients being used. So good I took my daughter back a week later.

Very overpriced with poor service when things go wrong. Sure, they have some good food here, but at these prices you'd expect that. However fruit juices at nearly £7 a pop can hardly be called "affordable".However, many dishes are sub par. The three egg omlette is smaller than most properly-made 2 egg versions and rubbery to boot. Their french toast and latkes share the same strange qualities of being burnt on the outside, raw inside and mushy throughout. The latkes were made with old mix too, which you could tell because of the grey interior. Sometimes, sanwich fillings (e.g. roast chicken) taste old, which is a sign of a business playing fast and loose with quality.Final straw for me was atrocious customer service after they failed to deliver one whole breakfast when we ordered on delivery, being seemingly disintetested in our experience, or in taking ownership of the issue. Perhaps they're more worried about making money than customer happiness, who knows? But at these prices, I'd expect better service.P.S: And apparently they have no compunction in breaching your personal data, in contravention of the UK Data Protection Regulation (2018).
This is a cute little cafe, the staff are friendly and it's nice and cosy inside. I had a nice coffee with my friend. The food is ok.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and a little free space for push chairs

£5.95 for bacon butty, would have been ok but it was two slices of generic sliced bread . We all have to make a living but come on.

After an order from Deliveroo it appears the Green Owl have hired Stevie Wonder to make their sandwiches and he hates making sandwiches apparently. The ciabatta turned up as dry toasted bread and no sauce (we requested both sauce and butter in the ciabatta). I can't even go into how they butchered the revered club sandwich, it would break your hearts. I wouldn't be surprised if they made it with their feet. They essentially gave us half the ingredients and we had to finish the sandwich ourselves. When we called up to discuss she proceeded to blame Deliveroo, as if Deliveroo made the sandwiches themselves. Apparently no one has butter anymore anywhere in the UK and we should just deal with it.If i could award 0 stars I would, one of the sandwiches had 4 ingredient's and they missed out 2 of them.Reading previous responses to reviews I’m certain the owner will be appalled and pass blame onto to customer.

Expensive. £38 for a 2 sandwiches (1 each 2 people) a drink and 2 scones with jam and clotted cream. Not much taste to the food either. I feel slightly cheated. The staff were friendly though.
Excellent food and a superb oat milk flat white!
