Not usually a big fan of Indian food, but have been to Manjal several times now and have thoroughly enjoyed the food each time I have been. Always happy to come back and suggest it to my friends. :)

Whether you’re a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or seeking something new, Manjal delivers an unforgettable culinary journey.Despite the exceptional quality of the dishes, the prices were reasonable, and we found ourselves more than satisfied with what we received for our £70 spend. It’s evident that Manjal takes pride in sourcing the finest ingredients and crafting each dish with care and attention to detail.

Once you get past the location, out the back of an industrial business park, (when you just about think you've taken a wrong turn, keep going to the end of the road), this restaurant is fab. It's severely lacking in ambiance and is very bright, they could do with dimming the lights. The staff are attentive and friendly.The food is FANTASTIC! Beautifully presented and packed full of flavour. Probably the best Indian restaurant we've eaten at and would 100% go back again. If you are after good food then don't be put off by the slightly odd location.

Buffet food was cold I had to ask the waiter to warm it up in the microwave there wasn't much of a selection, and what was there I didn't think much of, you know what it's like when you open up the food warmer tray and there are only a few bits of food there, no point in waiting for the shifts to refill because it didn't happen. I'd think I'd pass if anyone else ask me to go there again. Left the place with a £50 bill for two and was definitely not satisfied. I'd rather go to the one on Debden high street

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a surprise birthday party for my mum's 50th Birthday , and it was a remarkable experience! The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. The catering provided by Manjals Loughton was fantastic, with delicious food and impeccable service. Highly recommended for any special event!

Manjals did a great job with our birthday party which hosted around 125 people on a Saturday night. The Buffet service was well organised and the Food (Sri Lankan/South Indian variety) was superb. The management team and staff were very organised on the night led by Angelo. Angelo helped us with the planning in the lead up to the event and was very responsive / flexible with our requirements. They added more value by recommending great decorators and entertainment providers. The outdoor space at Manjal was also very popular with our guests on a warm summer evening and we were able to utilise that space for entertainment too. All our guests had a great time and specifically commented on how good the food was! Thank you Manjal and Angelo.
