I didn't eat, but had a nice drink.. The view was lovely, looking across the lakes. Had some chalk and chalk wall area for the kids to doodle ?

A really nice little cafe and reasonably priced too. Staff are friendly and the food was good. The cafe looks out over the reservoir where you can see the birds and people fishing in their boats. There are also woodland walks not far from the cafe. Will definitely visit again.

Should have choices of wholemeal rolls for the "panini menu"

Quite expensive. Long wait in a short queue to order the food.

Rude bad service - the food was expensive small portions and cold I complained but no apology- I will not go there again - I previously had a bad experience there and hoped that they had improved but not so. I definitely do not recommend this cafe

Lovely breakfast. Only 1 traditional breakfast or vegetarian option. Staff were lovely. More of an elderly cafe, not a builders cafe but so at the weekend.

I visit here with my dad who also enjoys the food and atmosphere. Lovely place to eat and a great place if the weather is fine to sit outside and watch the birds on the reservoir.

This is a local favourite for us. The service is always great and the food is very good. It's a perfect place to go as a group, with a reasonable amount of seating inside. There is extra seating outside. However, the large patio area seems to be under renovation at the moment.Popular with walkers, twitchers, and anyone who wishes to go for a walk in the neighbouring Wildlife Trust site and / or enjoy a view of the reservoir. The menu is fairly varied, the breakfasts (before 1130) are fantastic, with generous portions for less than £10. Kids menus are also available, as are baby chairs and changing facilities in the disabled toilet.Parking: Several disabled places immediately outside, with further parking behind and additional spaces available at the back near to the children's play area.Kid-friendliness: Children's menu, several child seats available, and baby changing facilities in the disabled toilet.Wheelchair accessibility: All on the ground floor, large and clean disabled toilet before entrance to the cafe. There is plenty of floor space inside.

What a lovely location to sit and watch the wildlife whilst having a tea or something more substantial. Good cafe food freshly cooked and served up by lovely people. This will be a regular stop for meParking: Lots of parking spots next to the café

Poor selection of healthy food. Mostly bread or potato based stodge. I ordered a cheeseburger and chips….big mistake. The chips were Luke warm(serving in a pretentious basket doesn’t improve them) The burger was dry, hard and full of gristle….£10.25 …..London prices for “greasy spoon cafe quality.

It's a nice spot. It's a pity about the management of the cafe. There's no table service (food is delivered to table only), you are required to queue inside at the only till. This causes a lengthy queue within the cafe, which causes congestion between staff and customers. Noticed waiting staff hanging around the kitchen area, which could be better spending time offering full table service and thereby negating the need for the lengthy queue to order. The food was OK, not good but the pot of tea was nice.Big put off was the tall, spectacled waiter standing by the till, loading cutlery and tea onto my tray to take to my table. He clearly is fed up working there: throwing cutlery to my tray like a disgruntled teenager.Needless to say, I won't be back.

Lovely setting next to the reservoir with a good cafe. Best of all, this is a dog free zone (due to being a SSSI), and better for it, being a tranquil oasis where a family of ducks wander around the car park unthreatened, delightful! Also great Mochas.
