This pub is a proper pub which sadly you don’t find a lot these days as most pubs are like restaurants, a lovely atmosphere, very welcoming, great outdoor area with fairy lights , pizza oven , and good food and drink , friendly staff ?

To be honest it’s an ok pub, the thing that lets it down is the disgustingly rude owner who clearly doesn’t like children in his “warm atmospheric pub” if children aren’t allowed that’s absolutely fine, just tell us that, not talk to them or about them in front of us like they are **** Wouldn’t step foot back in this place even if you paid me.

Unplanned visit whilst cycling. There’s an extensive menu to suit anyone. Service was fantastic, I didn’t even have to go inside, they came to me! The meal was served very promptly, piping hot and very tasty. Set me up for the rest of my ride. I will certainly return and try the Sunday roasts.
