Having just moved into the area we are so pleased to have this lovely pub on our doorstep. Food is really good and all the staff are lovely. With the garden newly refurbished it really offers everything you could want.

Lovely traditional welcoming pub that serves high quality food. Went with friends and ordered Charcuterie Sharing Board, Pizzas, Salad and Desserts - all delicious. Pub was busy, lots of friendly locals from village. Staff very helpful. I would recommend highly.

Brilliant - ticked every box! From the genuine staff to the freshly baked pizzas - they make the dough, have a huge pizza oven and the food was awesome, hot, fresh and served with a smile. It was my wife’s birthday and they sorted a small cake I bought with me, put candles on it and served it with care. Rare to find a pub like this, clean toilets, plenty of parking and steeped in history. This is how to run a pub. Landlady was young and so helpful, on our wavelength and determined to ensure we had a good evening. She didn’t fail in that and 10/10. A great experience and will definitely go back very soon. This is a hidden gem, thank you!

We went to try the new owners new pizza menu, the pub not only has a really great warm atmosphere and very friendly down to earth owners the pizzas were amazing really good quality and very reasonable.

Meagre food portions of poor quality. Menu mainly pizza but not available until 4pm. Caesar salad 4 outside lettuce leaves and couple of slices of chicken but no olives, anchovies etc. Ice cream seems to have been re-frozen. Full of ice crystals. Unfriendly locals. Give it a miss.
