What a lovely evening we had at the Forest Kitchen. It was my husband's birthday and the staff made us feel very welcome, he even got a slice of chocolate cake and birthday wish which was a lovely surprise! The food and drink was amazing and I would definitely recommend to friends and family. This place is a little hidden gem and if you're looking for a great place to dine then its definitely worth a visit.Thank you Forest KitchenSee you again soon ?

Came with a few friends for dinner. The restaurant had a nice buzz, even on a Monday, and we liked the decor. Staff were attentive and friendly. All of the food was delicious and portions were good. I chose my favourite dish - chicken shish, and it was excellent! My friends all enjoyed their food and drinks too. We will certainly be returning and I would recommend this lovely little restaurant :)

Very few other diners for lunch on Sunday. Excellent food , well presented. With a glass of wine each and coffees plus 2 hot starters of prawns and falafel, mains of wonderful lamb shisk and aubergine veggie dish, suclac dessert for one, for £76. Highly recommend a visit but did not experience a full house !Vegetarian options: Perhaps narrow but high quality aubergine dish.

Popped in here for a meal & was not disappointed. The Forest doesn’t look like much from the outside, but on the inside there was friendly service & OMG the food was amazing. We ordered the meal for 2/3 & there was just so much that we took a doggie bag home & it tasted just as good a couple of days later.

Fantastic lunch spot. We came here on the off chance and then came back three days later. The lunch menu is fantastic value, the staff were extremely helpful. I almost didn't want to review as I'm worried I may not get a table. But such a great place with fresh food at a reasonable price. Can't wait to go back

We've just moved into Epping and are working our way through all the restaurants.we like the look of. First visit here and was looking forward to a nice lunch as the Forest Kitchen has received many great reviews. I'm going to be kind here as I may have caught them on a bad day. I think there must have been a problem in the kitchen as we ordered two coffees but the service was painfully slow. We were not in a hurry so it didn't matter but it took ages for my wife's coffee to. arrive and I thought they had totally forgotten about mine but it finally arrived about twenty minutes later. There was no one else in the restaurant. Our orders weren't taken until some time later so maybe the ovens weren't working properly or they just weren't ready. We both ordered Chicken shish with yoghurt, but although my wife's dish was piping hot, her chicken arrived stone cold.. They were very apologetic and reheated the food.. Maybe it was our menu choice but it was very stodgy, bland and unappetising and we could not finish. I have to say the waiter was very good, but he was fighting a losing battle and on the whole it was hugely disappointing.

I cannot fault this place. The food was so tasty, very reasonably priced and the staff lovely. Even on a Monday evening the atmosphere was just right.

I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of the food and the outstanding customer service at this restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and actively sought feedback from us. Amazing cocktails ? The food was simply exceptional. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My personal favorite was the Lamb chops cooked in charcoal, which was absolutely excellent. The menu also offers mouthwatering desserts such as Baklava, Rice pudding, and Pistachio cake, which we had the pleasure of trying. The Pistachio cake and rice pudding were both delectable. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this restaurant. The combination of excellent food, superb service, and delightful ambiance make it a must-visit establishment.
