Afternoon visit... Not busy at all... Delightful young man behind the bar, polite, pleasant & charming :-) But... OMG...the 2 female managers on duty...I smiled and nodded at both but totally blanked by both!!! Not even a polite nod. The place was empty, was it too much to be polite to a friendly customer? I mentioned itvth the young barman and said they both looked like they are both crewing lemon ?! C'Mon guys ...Being polite doesn't cost.. #NoExcuse

Nice meal of prawn and crab linguine followed by mini dessert lemon posset and coffee. We were looked after very well by Clare and David.

Dined here on business on a Monday evening. Place was fairly busy. Had good quality gastro pub food. Not inexpensive, however having said that the quality was fairly good. Started with bao bun with belly pork. Decent quality and nicely presented. For mains had rotisserie chicken which was again nicely presented and cooked well. Fries were okay if not the best. However the service and helpfulness of the staff was second to none. We will return to this establishment hopefully with more people as rail strike kept numbers very low.

Never been here before. Very surprised. Lovely venue, when I visited it was not too busy. Very clean, disabled access. Excellent staff, great food. I was able to chat to my friends without the noise. Excellent service. Well done.

Had a great day at the George and Dragon for the Jubilee! Sat out side in the Sun, they had a BBQ so ordered a burger and chips of which the beef dripping sauce is amazing!! The staff cant do enough for you and were so helpful. Whenever our glass was empty they were over asking if we wanted another and food came up quickly. Well done Carly and the team will be back very soon

Our waitress/manager was great on our visit today and we gave her 10/10! But sadly the food & drink didn’t get the same rave reviews from anyone in our party. Their new menu is somewhat confusing as initially there didn’t appear to be any appetisers or starters, only ‘small plates’. Happily these actually turned out to be starter size although there were not enough of them choose from, we thought. One of the main courses had sold out which our waitress omitted to tell us until we actually ordered. Nobody had an amazing meal which is a shame. Even the wine - a Merlot - was disappointing and not as good as the cheap one I buy from the supermarket. At over £200 for four adults and a ten year old we probably could have done better buying stuff from M&S and eating in the garden!

We sat in the new area up the top in the garden looks and feels Amazing .. we had sea base and fish and chips .. Absolutely beautifully cooked .. Totally enjoyed ever moment .. Thank you to you all Carly Laila and Carla .. And our server Alex .. lovely Young Man … would highly recommend.. ❤️??

We are four friends who eat out regularly and this was our first visit. The atmosphere was good, the staff polite and the service excellent. The food was very good and was great value for money. We’ll certainly return.
